Hi!
I'm spending a year abroad next year studying.
I was all set on going to China, but now im having second thoughts.

Im considering going to Costa Rica, and go to China when im finished with High School.

But the thing is, ive been reading about Costa Rica, but i know very little about the people there, especially teenagers, what do you do on your spear time etc etc?

If somebody could give me a general impression or some advice i would be gratefull!

This is in Portugal, right? I think I've been there a couple of times on a summer holiday with my parents :D
I hardly met any teenagers there though, maybe I wasn't in the right area or maybe they were all somewhere else for their own holidays.
The people I did meet there though, were really bad at speaking English, and a girl I know from Portugal/Spain (not sure) also says that English education in those countries is really quite bad.
That may be an important issue, if you yourself don't speak their language.
But also, don't take my word for it...

It looks very tropical, almost like a jungle!!! I went to Italy, but I also wanted to visit Japan as well....but maybe when I get a little older :D

Now I'm reaaally wondering where I have been all those holidays... Lol...

EDIT: Oh hey you're from Portugal... I remember there was this small train that took us past a long beach with mountains on the background, according to my parents said to be one of the nicest beaches in Europe or something... Ring a bell? Wasn't all that far from Lisbon I think...
