How awesome wouldn't this be! :D I just saw a trailer for Indiana Jones the Lego videogame. :yah:

I don't think it would be awesome at all. I don't see the point in making a video game out of another video game.

That could be said for all game sequels, then.

I personally think a Lego TR game would be fun. :)

Sequels to games aren't the same.

The Lego [insert movie franchise here] games are all from movies (Lego Star Wars, Lego Batman etc). I really don't see a point in making a Lego Tomb Raider since Tomb Raider is a video game franchise. Yes, there are Tomb Raider movies, but the franchise is best known for the video games since that's what it started out as.

First of all: You can't easily turn characters from Tomb Raider into cute Lego figures. Just won't work. Also, Tomb Raider is, frankly, not interesting enough. You got to see that the Lego Video games are always part of a general tie-in with some popular movie, and I don't think Tomb Raider really has potential for interesting Lego sets. Finally, the Lego Star Wars games always have a large social aspect, with many characters you can control and choose between. Tomb Raider's worlds are simply too empty for that, there's Lara and that's it. If you compare this to Star Wars and Indiana Jones, you will find that most of the time there is some side kick together with the main hero, or multiple main heroes are working together.

For this reasons, I officially do not support this suggestion.

And making a fun game that will parody the TR series would be pointless? I don't think so. It could inject some fun into Tomb Raider... it certainly needs it.

You mean like the people laughing at Star Wars and Indiana Jones because there's a Lego version? Come on.

I think there should be no such game because Tomb Raider isn't actually cool enough for that. Sounds harsh, I know, but that's my opinion.

LEGO Indiana Jones looks awesome (and I can't wait to play it), I wouldn't mind a LEGO Tomb Raider. I'm sure that could be fun ! :tmb:

My thoughts exactly. The Tomb Raider franchise couldn't successfully support the Lego game concept.

I agree! Tomb Raider doesnt need to damage its reputation again! Not that you'r idea was bad, I just dont think Tomb Raider and LEGO would mix well together!:)

It could make the Lego series fans try Tomb Raider and maybe they could become TR fans. I think it would be cool. But there will be Lego Indiana Jones, so it might not happen...

It could happen if they at least make a decent tr movie in the first place. :pi:

Ermm. No. I've been playing TR since preschool and I'd play it around my friends and they laughed at Lara when she jumped and screamed and stuff. It wasn't funny; at all. I played it seriously; though I sucked ;P
So if we see a lego TR its quite possible kids may think it's stupid or laugh at everything.
Tomb Raider needs fun; but doing a Lego versions not the ticket.

The classic TRs were sort of Legoish :p Everything was blocky: the scenery, her boobs, even the enemies (the most squared gorillas and tigers ever done in a videogame can be found in TR1 and TR2)...so it wouldn´t be that different from the classics. It may even get the similar classic gameplay controls XD

LEGO Tomb Raider would be an awesome game! :tmb: I see no reason that Tomb Raider can't have a parody spin-off like some of the other things LEGO makes these things from... :)

useless trivia:

I actually made a LEGO lara, she had two drills with the thin bits clipped off for guns and I used the same paint mix that I used on the model in my avatar for the torso.
