It sure is!
Storing videos, music, photos, going on the internet (No crappy Cell quality, this actually looks like the sites you visit on your PC) and being able to play games on such a small little device is amazing :3

I got one a used PSP fat for Christmas and i love it, was only $130 at gamestop.

i wouldn't say is crappy, that depends which kind of game you like, DS is expert in RPG, in which PSP really has a few only.

Ehhh... deeeeeeeeeepends...

There isn't a staggering amount of awesome games on it but there are some occasional golden UMDs. (err...)

Definitely!! I got one last year, and I use it nearly every day. With a good sized memory stick, you can keep a huge amount of music, games and films on it.

Come on, PSP has awesome graphics for a portable console, DS is nice, has really nice games, but PSP is better.

I've had mine since launch and it's a decent little machine. There aren't many original games on there and there is a lot of PS2 ports (no bad thing!). Of course, it helps that it's got SH Origins on it!

Well it can be annoying. First of all you need to buy new games for it and I find it difficult to control because it is smaller.

My opinion is: PSP is worth buying for sure.

But it's your money, do whatever suits you.

I have both a PSP and a DS and PSP is way better imo. Tekken is the single greatest game to play on the go ever created plus it has loads of really great games for it as well, both for on the go play and play at home. On top of that you can store music and videos on it. The DS is ok, not great. A bit too gimmicky for it to have any lasting appeal for me. It does have a few great 2D platformers though.

Psp is for everyone! It's really good I have one but it's not really a necessity for the gamer, instead of getting a psp you could invest that money in a ps3 instead:)

Yes. :)

You'll have to go tho the Playstation Store (http://store.playstation.com) and there you'll find full PS1 games for PSP. You'll have to register first, and enter credit card info so you'll be able to download the game. It's very cheap.

I'd get one (I have one) because it has great games with decent graphics, plus you can store pictures, music and videos on it. You can also watch full-length movies. DS you can just touch a little screen all day and give your fingers blisters while smearing up the screen.

I have all Tomb Raiders on my PSP and I don't have a PS3. ;)

I used this method. You need custom firmware for it to work, though.

If you have a PS3, there is another way. You put your PS1 game into the PS3, and then use remote play on the PSP to play it. Bare in mind I haven't yet got a PS3, but I'm sure that works.
