I'm just curious about how you translate crawlspace english into french. I went on a site and typed it in and said petit espace but i don't think that's how you say crawlspace in french because that means small space instead but someone told me in school how you say crawlspace in spanish and he said chiquito espacio meaning little space. I don't know if it's true or not but is it true petit espace means crawlspace in french?

"Vide sanitaire" according to Euroglot, though it sounds like something that has to do with toilets... It gives "sótano" as the Spanish translation.

I'd go with petit espace. We don't exactly have a direct translation for crawlspace in portuguese either.

In deed, it is "vide sanitaire", the space in the house between the ground and the living space (when there is some).

Petit espace is perfect. ;)
Petit endroit can work too.
Petite pièce also.
