In south-central Russia around the city of Krasnoyarsk, dozens of fires were burning on May 18, 2004, and filling the skies with smoke. Across the top right part of the scene, a glimmering ribbon of white and blue traces the path of the still-thawing Angara River. This image was captured by the Aqua MODIS instrument. Actively burning fires are marked in red.

That's a wide range of fires. :( All of those forests going up in smoke. :(

I've always wondered, what's the website that you get these pictures from?

Thanks for the link. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif I was hoping to find pictures of Michigan to see if any of this flooding is enough to be visible from space.
