View Full Version : Nosferatu: Class black & white silent film!
Has anyone here seen the old horror film Nosferatu? It was filmed back in 1922. It is so cool, you have to see it! Here's some screens that may be in your mind. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/mischievous.gif

Looks promising http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif Only I think a film that old might be a bit hard to find...
Only I think a film that old might be a bit hard to find...Not really. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif
It's a very famous film that I'm sure exists in restored copies on video tape or DVD (actually, it's one of the cornerstones of cinematography, and was refilmed much later with Klaus Kinsky as Nosferatu).

Yes, but I live in a very remote part of the world, and there aren't many DVDs to be found here (except the newer films). And I'm a poor student who has no video player, only my comp :( So, any chance it's available on DivX, somewhere?
BTW, how is Boaz doing? I think she's so very cute :D
She's fine, thanks. Getting cuter and cuter (and sending her regards). http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/jumper.gif http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/clown.gif http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/mischievous.gif
About the film being available on DivX, I have no idea, sorry. :( Maybe you could check the movie section of the DivX site (http://www.divx.com/movies/?src=footer_movies_from_/index.php) for more info. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

I find it hard to believe there's anyone who hasn't seen this classic. There have also been a number of references to it in the media in general, and particularly in advertising. There was a recent (rather good) advert on TV in the UK. I can't remember what for, but he ends up with some problem with his fingernails, and the last shot is of Nosferatu filing his nails.
