Hey
I have a question. I can only afford an Xbox 360 Arcade and not the Pro which comes with a 20GB hard drive...
What is the difference between having the hard drive and actually NOT having it? Can I not save my games without a hard drive? The 256MB memory stick is not enough to save games?
Thanks

Is basically just the console with a small amount of memory and no extra accessories. You can save games on the memory card but it will fill up quick and you can't download videos or demos etc. I would definitely recommend saving up for the premium if i were you.

In fact I might have an as-new premium I'd be willing to sell if none of my cousins want it (recently bought an Elite) if your interested.

Either way, premium or Elite is the way to go, depending on how much you want to download

This may sound silly but how does an Xbox connect to the internet? An ethernet cable? Dial-up? Wireless?

Ethernet cable or wireless. The wireless adaptor costs a small fortune of around £50/$100.

And I ditto thanatos - Pro or ELite is the way to go. You can download the demos/trailers for free (it'd be £6/$10 with the Official magazine) and you can also buy new Xbox Live Arcade games (either original games or old classic games like Doom, Galaga or Pac-man), themes, gamer pictures or rent films :).

Ethernet cable (comes with premium but not arcade) or wireless (wifi adapter sold separately for ALL versions)
