So, now that Chains of Olympus is out, some gamers are not so sure about the story and which game comes first. I'm posting the correct sequence of the facts.

- Kratos fights against the Barbarian King
- Kratos is gonna die, asks for help
- Ares saves him, gives him the Blades of Chaos
- Kratos serves to Ares and kills innocent people, including his wife and daughter
- Chains of Olympus game
- God of War I game -Kratos wants revenge and kills Ares
- Kratos realized the Gods didn't take the nightmares from his head and killing Ares didn't help either, so he jumps off the high cliffs of Mount Olympus
- Athena saves him and he becomes the new God of War
- God of War II game - Kratos will kill Zeus
- Athena dies trying to protect Zeus
- Kratos and the Titans go after Zeus
- God of War III game

Thanks Ben! Itīs clearer now (I thought CoO came right after GoWI with Kratos' missions as the God of War) :)

I hope Kratos finally gets what he deserves in GoWIII...poor Athena :( I want him dead.

Donīt misunderstand me...Zeus is an imbecile. But it was Kratos in the very end who did it. I donīt know...Iīll have to wait and see if I Kratos can regain some of the respect Iīve lost for him :o

Athena is my favorite Greek goddess (blame Saint Seiya for it) so her death is sort of painful to even think of :(

It's been a while since I've finished GoW II but didn't Kratos kill Athena by accident? I'm pretty sure he didn't mean to do it. Please correct me if my memory is hazy. :)

Yep, yep, it was an accident :p But does such accident justify the action? XD

Still, if I didnīt like Athena it wouldnīt bother me at all...itīs undeniable: I canīt help it :o

True. I like her too. Athena will be missed in future God of War games :(

Yes, and I don't blame Kratos for killing her. It was an accident. Kratos didn't want to do such a thing. :(

Well, in Brazil they are going to start selling it on March 25th, but since I buy many things from eBay.com, I bought the game and the official guide from there. The game arrived on March 19th and the guide one day before. If you want any tips on Chains of Olympus, I'm here for you. When I buy from eBay, I get the original game faster and it's new and it's cheaper. :)

I didn't play Chain of Olympus because I don't have a PSP but the ending of GOW2 was awsome, with all the Titan climbing the mountain to kill Zeus !
Almost better than the TRL ending. :D

Actually I find God of War games better than any Tomb Raider game made by Crystal Dynamics.

Just completed Chains of Olympus. All I can say is that it’s the best game the PSP has ever had. I really enjoyed it. However it was a tad short but maybe that is because I never took a break from it since I brought it lol. Looking forward to replaying it again and unlocking the extras. Roll on GOW3. :D
