:wve:

I have added a new background track to my audio folder (the croft manor theme). I have put it as track no.106, and then in the script folder, under the level block, added DATA,106 (rather than the original 107). Then conerted the script and level. When it comes to playing the level, the background music is just a glitched version of the title theme?. I have added different audios before and then triggered them ingame, but nothing like this has ever happened. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks for the help,
LaF

Have you saved it in the right format? It has to be 4 bit (usually it is standart at 16) 44 kHz. If not then it wont be played right.

Thanks! Mine is 16bit, but only 22KHz. How do I make it 44Hz?

Thanks,

I think you also have to replace an existant audio file for it to work...

I had some files with 092 and 093 names respectively, in the right format but didn't appear in-game and couldn't be heard...
I changed them to 091 and 094 (already existant), with the same format and the audio tracks could be listened in-game perfectly...

What Piega said. You need to have the excact format.

What I use is simply Microsoft Wav recorder, like every Windows has it. You can save it that way to the correct format. Ofcourse you can also use fancy audio programs.

A picture to explain: ( click to enlarge , sorry for the dutch windows XD but layout has to be same )
