I have no idea how quick it is but I have ADSL. I've got so many security thingies attached that my son reckons it makes it as slow as if we had the old 58k. LOL
56K at the moment, but I'll be getting commercial Cable or T3 in my home. Thing about those, I won't paying for either of them.
* sigh * imagine the slowest thing you can think of and then downgrade it :(
I was imagining a staionary object you must be in trouble
At home I have 56K modem.
At workplace: 2MBps wireless link + 128KBps backup link http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
56k...so slow...And, what makes it really bad, I'm not gonna be able to get anything else anytime soon...
DSL. When the cable guy came over to install, I remember him going online somewhere to check the speed. It would tell you how fast and compare that to other forms of service out there.
I wish I knew where that was. Anyone know of a site where you can perform speed tests?
...a voice from the darkness.....
I have ADSL: 384kbit/sec for downloading, 64kbit/sec for uploading, 24 hours per day connection. Earlier I had Modem-56K and ISDN-64K too, so I also know about what is sloooooooooowness... It's funny, but here, ADSL is cheaper than the "dial-up" connections (fix bill, instead of very expensive phone-prices)... ;)
SYS "Whew! That girl has got one bad attitude."
