Hey guys,
just thought I'd ask you all what you think is the best TR level out of all the games released so far?

I know its a tough one, but if I had to pick it would have to be Sir Francis' Folly - to me this was the first HUGE TR level with great puzzles, it will always be a classic to me. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/jumper.gif

Venice. It'll always be Venice for me. Great post St. Anger!

"This was Venice, the flattering and suspect beauty - this city, half fairy tale and half tourist trap, in whose insalubrious air the arts once rankly and voluptuously blossomed, where composers have been inspired to lulling tones of somniferous eroticism." Thomas Mann.

i didn't really like little Lara, no guns and all, but it did break the game up nicely - good change of pace.

Venice was cool - and was a good setting for the movie too.

loved the bond style jump with the boat- now that rocked!!

I wonder how many members will choose a level from the first Tomb Raider episode they played? Tomb Raider II was my initiation into the world of Lara Croft and even then I was looking over the shoulder of someone playing Venice. We went right out the next day and bought Tomb Raider II and played non-stop till completion.

I'd have to say Jungle, or Temple Ruins from TR3. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

I liked Lud's Gate a lot too. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif My third choice would have to be Bartoli's Hideout though. :D

Maybe it's because I have always wanted to go to Italy. But while I was playing, I didn't feel like I was in my room anymore. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Have you not finished TR2 then Bella? :(

If it's just the CD, and not compatibility issues with your computer, I have an extra TR2 cd that I could send you. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Thank you for offering Celli. But I think it is my computer. The game crashes after every level. And I have no sound on the TR1 game.
That's alright, I have yet to buy the Angel of Darkness. Although from the sound of it, I wonder if it is worth it?

Celli, That was so kind of you to offer. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Celli, That was so kind of you to offer. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif Have you tried Stella's for the sound? There's a certain way you have to set the sound for it to work properly. So check Stella's for some help in that area. ;)

I got the Trilogy a few years ago for my birthday, because I just needed TR3. But my aunt couldn't find TR3 by itself, so I got the trilogy. And ended up with an extra copy of TR1 and TR2 in the process. ;)
