View Full Version : Fraps won't record a TRL gameplay footage

On my old PC, I had no problem recording footage from TRA using Fraps, now I have new PC and when I press the button to record a video using Fraps, the game stops moving until I press the button again. Why is that? I tried various Fraps settings, no change. Maybe I shall try to lower the game resolution (currently set to 1440x900) In Fraps FAQ, I read about that this wouldn't be possible on single Core, but I now have dual Core CPU and I took footages from several games set to the same resolutions. Please help.

Mine does the same with Legend when i hit the Record Button, the Game just stops.

In Oblivion when i do manage to Record something, VLC wont even play it.

I tried to lower the resolution, to disable Widescreen option and to go lower with video details but Fraps still won't record anything from the game. Does anyone know why?

What's the Hotkey you're using? I believe the F11 key actually pauses Legend.

Change your hotkey to something else which isn't used in Legend, like P, then try again.

OMG it really was that. In fact I had it on F10, but anyway thanks, didn't think of this possibility.

Oh whoops, it was F10 by default, not F11 (which I changed mine to). XD
Well I'm glad you got your problem solved anyway.

So im doing the same mistake, thanks Chocolate. :D

It does work when i change to a diffrent key, but when i make a video, VideoLan doesent play it, only Windows Media Player does and the video is very laggy.

The Game and Video go smoothly when i change the Settings to this.
