T-rex in Khamoon?

OK I was interested in another ending on The Hive & I came across this: http://www.amazon.com/Aspyr-10028-Tomb-Raider-Gold/dp/B00001ZT3K A review says the is an alternate ending in Unfinished Buisness & it also metions a T-rex in Khammon (Shadowof the cat) I wondered if anyone else has seen or even heard of this because I havn't! :confused:

Well flooded Khamoon levels are Return to Egypt and Temple of the Cat. I love them and didn`t find T-rex!

Temple of the Cat is a great level! I just can't see where there would be a T-rex & why no one has found it or heard of it yet!

I just checked Mac walkthroughs from this site: http://www.users.bigpond.com/macraider/index.html

I found nothing about a T. rex in the 4 UB levels, but you could confirm that. I suppose there could be a later edition for TR Gold on the Mac, but my first guess would be that a mistake is being repeated by various sellers. In the second link, note the similarity between the last sentence for the descriptions for TR and TR UB. I doubt the people who put up these ads have played every game they advertize.

Edit: As the comments in the second link make clear, this is a demo with about 12 min. of gameplay. Also it says the screenshot is from TR2! Click on the screenshot to expand it, and you can see this yourself. Really looks like an advertizer who Just Doesn't Care.

^^^ What I thought as well, but dispointed though, would be interesting if someone found a secret room with the T-rex in! The T-rex does seem out of place in Egypt though.

The picture was for Core's Tomb Raider 1 not the Eidos made extra levels which were done several years later for the Gold Edition. The alternate endings is just meaning that the Hive levels were an alternate Atlatis ending, and whoever mentioned the T-Rex in Khamoon obviously never played the game, Amazon is hardly that reliable sometimes when it comes to descriptions of items.

I have just checked all the meshes of the baddies in my 'Premier Collection' version of Unfinished Buisness and there is no T-rex mesh, sorry.

But there is a mesh called lara's evil twin mutant, which we know as 'Bacon Lara'

Its a long time since I played UB, but I am sure Bacon lara is not in it, yet her mesh animations are in UB, weird !

So you can see, this Bacon Lara mesh has been carried over from the origional game, though not used, hence there may have been other versions of UB out there, that had the T-rex mesh carried over from TR1, but not used.

Mind you, having explained that, an unscrupulous person could easily merge the T-rex mesh from TR1 and put it in UB, then locate it in the game and take a photo, he he :D

probably after TR1 was released, core used the same wad (object package) from atlantis and probably copied it over to UB

I believe the TRUB description was just copied from the TR1 description, since TRUB was based on TR1.
