View Full Version : WANTED: Portrait
Well, maybe not, but I've wanted to nail this guy's picture for a very long count of years :D
Meet Ecallen, or Calli to those that know him (better check your pockets after shaking his hand - just a tip ;)). I reckon he could even give Lara a run for her money (possibly over rooftops, jeering and waving her wallet :cln:)
Yet another of the characters that populate my fictional world (novels in progress). I'm so chuffed with how he's turned out I just had to post him here :jmp: A larger version (watermarked) and more detailed description can be found here (http://greenkey2.deviantart.com/art/Ecallen-83853650).
Constructive criticism is appreciated :wve:
excellent work :D
he looks handsome :cln: :p
If your writing skills are as good as your drawing skill then I can't wait for more info on the novels!

Wow ! Outstanding ! :tmb:

oh yeah, this is nice! he seems amiable and seedy all at once. the spots up the back remind me a bit of the aliens from that old movie Alien Nation.

So perfectly excellent :tmb:
Excellent Greenkey!!!
He is bad or good.....because he has face of good person.
I don't know if you are doing a cruel killer :)
It's fascinating to see everyone's skills evolve and grow on this board :tmb: He has an uncanny resemblance to Ty Pennington (http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&hs=Klm&q=ty%20pennington&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wi), who used to host a home improvement show in the States.
I'm extremely impressed with the face here :tmb: my only criticism is that his jacket doesn't have as much depth and detail as the rest of the drawing. Excellent work over all, though - absolutely stunning

Fabulous! For some reason he reminds me of a young Gary Oldman ;)
Its just wonderfull. The detail must have taken quite some time...:)
Whoa...Greenkey! Beautiful art! He looks fantastic :tmb: ;)

thats an amazing draw :D kinda looks like a biker :) fantastic work :tmb: (as usual)
Something to be proud of, Jenni :tmb:
Excellent work, as far as I, as a non arty person, am concerned. I like the details of the face, especially the eyes.
Amazing work Jenni! I wish I could draw as well as you. :tmb:
Thanks for all the positive feedback

Well spotted :D He did inspire his looks (though Oldman has been considered in the past too), though I've tried to give him a slightly more serious tone / more gravitas (whatever Ty is on, I'd like some :vlol:).
I must have spent about three afternoons on the face, and about half that on the jacket so yes, it is much less detailed. His expression was what I really wanted to capture however, so I wasn't fussed about giving him fancy clothes (he wouldn't wear them anyway!).
@ Tampi: he's 'good' ;)
