Howdy.

I have started making my own textures. Here is my first attempt:

Its not brilliant but i am learning. I need help making them seamless so if anyone knows that would be great. I use PaintShop Pro 12. :)

Maybe if you made the bricks less shiny it will look alot better, there is too much light on each brick making them look different.

You might like to try to use Photoshop, it's better than Paint shop pro.

You asked how to make them seamless. Dont know about paintshop but in photoshop if you go to filter/other/offset then offset your image by half in both directions (eg if your texture is 512x512 then you want to offset it 256x256). Then just patch up the centre where it looks wrong, you will need to do a bit of blending etc.

Also, I've noticed your texture contains bump/specular information - this could cause problems under differing lighting conditions - it could take away the reality. If your editor supports bump etc (dont know much about tr editors - sorry) then create the maps individually - there is a great trial program called crazybump which creates normal/bump/specular maps all from one image.
