Can't get Lara to walk

I've had this game since it came out and gave up on it,some reason i decided to try again but i can never get Lara to WALK (PC version) Searching here or over the net i find no one else seems to have this problem.

I'm useing gravis game pad pro but with the keyboard or gamepad LARA WILL NOT WALK, only run.

Any help apreceated

You hold down Alt as you press the arrow keys. It is pretty hard to move around compared to PS2, though.

ah ha , i had to change the axis to keystroke and replace the arrow keys.I may actually get to play this game at last!

That's ok. I managed to just about play the game on PC without walking too much. It's quite awkward when trying to change direction.

And to sneak you would use R, l do not see how it is awkward to move around though, PC users would steer her with the mouse which is why unless they are left handed they would control direction with the WASD keys, not the arrows.

Are you considering buying an analog controller for this game? All modes for movement are supported on the stick alone and you have the full 360 angle to work with.
