My Review:I just recently finished the game and thought it was actually pretty decent.
Pro's- Just stabbing the raptors alone may give you enjoyment. Besides that the weapon selection is pretty good to. I also liked the main character and the story although many reviews seem to strike at the storyline I think it was pretty good. Also if anybody has Xbox Live and this game don't be afraid to play a game with me my username is: Inferno7. Oh yeah the xbox live is incredible you have a wide number of selections to choose from Co-op has to be my fav!
Con's The camera is kind of shaky which will get you a little ticked off trust me. The enemy's even on normal to the average player are pretty tough. I also found the way the levels where set up to be quite frustrating to. But regardless it was a fun game to try out.

How does it compare? Hmm I can't say I haven't played the originals only the xbox one which I thought was ultimate crap. Let me say one thing if you're looking for an xbox live game out there this is the game to get. Most people are wasting away in front of there tv's playing Halo3, and COD4 :p. Don't expect the campaign to blow you away like Halo did to many fans.

I've played only turok 1 in 97 or 98 I don't remember now. It was more than 10 years ago. The game and engine were great :tmb: And dinosaur hunting is actually very interesting thing to do (unless you ain't a prey :D) :D

This sure looks like a awsome game, it's a shame thought that i wouldn't play it...
First of all: I HATE first person shooters,
Second: I'll be scared at some point (mostly because of the first person thing.
And third: You can exacurate with the whole blood and gore thing....

I played the demo and idk there was just something I don't like about it and I can't think of it maybe it's the camera or something. Other than that one things I thought the game was pretty good. I got turok 2 for n64 and that one is fun.

Turok: Dinosaur Hunter on N64 in my opinion was superb and the series went downhill after it. I had high hopes for the new Turok, but haven't tried it yet as I'm waiting for the price to drop substantially before I take a chance with the series again.

It's got nothing to do with the first 4, different game altogether, rights got bought by Touchstone, an they developed a different kind of game, but i'm impressed with it, great graphics..

Yup agree with you there it happened to me with the t-rex I never want to play that level again :cln:.

Eh, you're more than likely in for a disappointment if you have high hopes. It wasn't superb IMO but I enjoyed it a descent game regardless of what some people may say.

I use to love playing turok on the n64, turok 2 was confusing and didnt like it, but the xbox 360 turok was pretty good i give it an 8/10:D
