Maybe they should lay off a model this year? It would be awesome (and I know, never gonna happen) if they put the modelling thing into the fans hands and had get-togethers etc, groupings of Laras rather than just the one.

YAY Karima! I love her! I especially like the way she got accepted as being Lara, it was really cool, like anyone could do it. At first she wasn't a huge fan, then her sisters or brother or something started playing them and they got her hooked. which she started to love the games. So, I think it's really cool that she got chosen to be Lara. IMO, I think Karima looks more like Lara now than any of the old models. They were just too, IDK, Personally I thought they were ugly. lol

Spend your money wisely, Eidos, and skip needless spending on a model. Lara is in the game, and that is all we need.

With the recent shake down of Eidos, and the promise of a financially streamlined and "focus on the game" production effort, I would be shocked if money was spent on a model. If anything is "old style" and obsolete, it is that. It was fun once, but no longer needed.
Lets make TR a game that everyone can take seriously.

With as realistic as this Lara is, I hope they don't have a model. The game character is good in itself. Now if they bring heidi money maker into the picture and she actually does acrobatics at appearances, then thats a Lara model im interested. Otherwise, my in game lara stands there and poses just fine.

i hope there will be another model. it would be better, if it was Karima again, because i love her, but she won't come back, that's for sure. anyway, there "must" be a model. there always have been models. on exposition like E3 models attract more people and make them being interested in TR. they don't have to be Lara, they just have to look like her and make TR more interesting. they help to sell the game better and being more discussed on expostions.
for me Karima looks a lot like Lara, especially her face. it's impossible to find a women, who is exactly like Lara... only women, who look similar to her.

i hope, they don't remove it.
that's what defines TR and it's a good idea, especially to attract new fans to the game and Lara.

Models are part of the promotion, I don't think is a waste of money
Bringing Karima back would be a good choice, since she is already trained and everything, and I really liked her, one of my favs
It seems they won't hire anyone else this time around, the game is like 4-5 moths away

I watched an interview or two. Karima seems like a very sweet lady, but she wasn't Lara-like enough for me. Like Karima herself said, everyone has their own idea of what Lara looks like and no one is ever truly satisfied.
They never keep models long anyway. I hope they introduce a new one soon.

to tell you the truth....Some of these cosplay/Laralooklike people are way better than those fluffy models...
Ive seen Lena Lara accomplish more Lara in one photo than Karima had accomplish in thousands of photos...
Eidos should really think of using some of these people.....Their costumes are even better than the official model costumes...
