I posted a few weeks back as i was looking for a miniature Lara Croft as part of a series of Egyptian Tombs and puzzles i was planning to make, the miniature in the picture is actually called "Eve", but as you can see(even from behind) she looks very much like our own beloved Lara.

The pic below is my very first effort and will become one of many connecting rooms that will include a maze of puzzle rooms and such, that Lara must complete to find her way out and maybe collect a certain treasure on her way?

I would appreciate any comments, good or bad?

I have some plans for puzzle rooms, but will gladly accept any ideas from your good selves here at the Forum and will post the pics when each one is completed.

As you can see, this first piece still needs painting, i shall be using a sandy colour and then an antique method to make the Tomb appear old, again i will post pics when completed.

Thanks

This is my Tomb Raideresque piece, Lara must push the block to either side of the room and climb up to press the switch releasing the door(not finished yet)

Here are all three pieces together, the start of what i hope will be a vast egyptian Tomb.

Let me know what you think? and any ideas for more Tomb Raider like puzzles/rooms will be much appreciated.

Thanks

Nice work, Gazhammer! :tmb:

The architecture reminds me a lot of the concept art for Anniversary.
Lovely detailing! :tmb:

(Ps- is this just for Tomb Raider, or have you modelled before?
As in terrain for miniature wargames- like Warhammer? :o )

Cheers!

No modelling experience, bought the molds and some plaster online, followed the instructions and Bobs your Uncle.

I came up with the Tomb Raider idea after seeing pics of the Egptian buildings on the net, i then purchased some Lara Croft like miniatures and put the two together.

I was going to sell them in sets on e-bay, but not sure it will be that popular?

I purchased some molds that create individual bricks/floor etc piece by piece and use dental plaster poured and left to set in the molds.

Then i just glue it all together, paint it, age it and give it a clear varnish to finish off the job and add some extra strength.

I've decided to put my first three builds up for sale on e-bay, plus one of my miniature Lara's(crap picture)

Heres the link if anyone's interested?

Does anyone have any thoughts regarding the prices or anything else?

There is someone selling the same stuff at similar prices, but they are only in kit form where as mine come fully assembled.
