View Full Version : Obelisk of Khamoon Time Trial/Manor bug!
or...how to "skip" the OoK Time Trial!!! :D
I've mentioned this several times, although I've forgotten by now who actually found this bug. I've never seen a video of it though, so I'm proud to show you mine! Sadly, this was taken from my tv with my camera, so the quality could be a wee bit better.
The gist is...start the time trial for Obelisk of Khamoon. Before you get to a checkpoint, kill Lara. The manor will load up in time trial mode! Complete the manor time trial and VOILA!!! Credit for the OoK time trial! :jmp:
This works on PS2 and PC (not on Wii...I tried!) and I don't know about PSP or X-Box 360.
(might be a little loud...watch out!!! I haven't had time to edit the sound)

The Croft Manor trick you used in the video doesn't work on the 360, so the bug won't work on the 360 version. :(
brill, great find mate now i just have to do Sanctuary of the Scion time traial and im finished 100% :D

I'm assuming you mean from OOk to Manor?
Just follow the video...enter the OOK level and turn to the left. Toss Lara off onto the platform below so she dies. The manor automatically loads up!
NOTE: You cannot hit a save point first. So fling to the left!
Easy enough!

yeah i've used this loads of times, it's dead good, `cause for obelisk of khamoon was the hardest level and also i have a fear of mummies;)

It is. I was still trying to do the glitch until I stopped, and I found out for the past 10 minutes I was literally inside the room. Or outside...?

I'm on PC so I completed the TT with the Croft Manor bug but it's possible to do Obelisk of Khamoon with the air cheat and that works on 360;). All you need to do is lower the first bridge as normal and take the eye, then use the air cheat for the rest. Each time Lara takes an artifact using the air cheat she'll fall and die but the artifact should still be in the inventory. It's still a lot quicker than completing it the normal way:D.

you people should be ashamed!! I did all the trials full on.. Obelisk was a pain but I managed to do it anyway and im really proud that i made 100% without codes or any stupid glitches..

So did I, but I thought the levels would be tough on Time Trial. When I tried them I managed to do them on my first try, so they're a lot easier than they seem.

ah but you see having an intense fear of mummies coupled with a hard level i may have had to repeat several times means this glitch saved my butt :ton:
so as far as phobias are concerned id say cheating is fine, to be honest i find it all rather interesting how people find them :D

Thanks for this it worked. I HATED that level and I have only ever played through it ONCE cuz I hated it so much. Damn Lara and those columns she just wouldn't stick! Thanks for this its saved a lot of headaches...

Is anyone aware of that the door bug (we used in Croft Manor) can be used to complete the Temple Of Khamoon level?
Problem is, you still have to do the obelisk puzzle to get into OoK, though your in that level.

ONLY if you are playing the game straight through. If you are completing the time trial, not a problem!!!
