Any chance you could show us a screenshot of the shadow problem?

And can you make sure you install the latest version of DirectX, HERE (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=822640AB-0983-4C41-9C70-632F6F42C557&displaylang=en).

Oh and i've got Next Gen toggled on by the way...
here is the screenshot:

and also, this weird silhouette appears behind all of the characters...

http://i35.************/1zco1tv.png

mind you, anti aliasing is on... both from my system and the game itself

I have the same glitches here, and I have an 8800GT. Enabling anti aliasting through nVidia control panel get rid of those silhouettes but the game gets extremely dark. But I couldn't find a solution for the shadows. I think it's something from the game, because it's the only game that it happens here.

Try the following:

1. Update video drivers (http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_175.19_whql.html)

2. Disable FSAA, Depth of Field and VSync from TRL settings.

3. Enable/force FSAA from NV control panel OR Riva Tuner (http://www.majorgeeks.com/download737.html).

Yes i was about to post the AA issue but i upgraded to the ati 4850 and still the same issue:( Nvidia 7 series isnt present with this bug, could be inflicting with dx 10? has dx10 has issues with AA. But dx10.1 has corrected it so its something else...

Adjust gamma settings in TRL and from NV control panel.

Try enabling dynamic textures in TRL also:

Set Disable Dynamic Textures....... Off

^ Well... IMO it's more to bash CD, not Nvidia here... At least for crappy edges... As for shadows, they are not ultra-sharp in reality anyway :)
