Whenever I switch on the computer I have to click on the User icon to log in, this is something new to me as I always logged in automatically. It appears that there is a "new user" created, which I was not the reason for. Anyway, do I delete it or somehow "disable" it so my computer automatically logs in again? I think there is a "tool" which can fix that but I don't know.

Thanks for your help! :)

1. In Control Panel, double-click Users and Passwords.
2. Click to clear the Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer check box.
3. Click the Advanced tab.
4. Click to clear the Require users to press Ctrl-Alt-Del before logging on check box.

Run ARDiag.exe (http://www.tombraiderhub.com/download/ardiag.exe) and post the report.
Some software can't work with your SQL server installation from this type of account.

Run Reg Cleaner (http://www.tombraiderhub.com/download/RegCleaner.zip) in automatic mode to scan and fix your Registry errors.

The error most likely is generated/caused by Symantec Antivirus. As you have AVG already, I recommend you to uninstall this crappy Symantec stuff - this will make your PC work better (with considerable amount of resourses freed) :)

That's the account used for running the ASP.NET worker process (aspnet_wp.exe), which is running inside of Internet Information Server on your machine.

If you are not using Visual Studio or you're not developing web sites withing .NET or you are not using ASP.NET application on your local machine, you don't need that account.

To logon automatically, you may download Microsoft Tweak UI for Windows XP (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/Downloads/powertoys/Xppowertoys.mspx) and then to configure autologin option, as marked on the screenshot above:

http://img364.imageshack.us/img364/7043/xpautologontweakuivc1.gif (http://imageshack.us)

Hope that helps.

Can be also SQL Debugger account :)

BTW, those services can be started from your own account (having admin rights) or from System account (on a standalone PC only).

I have done all that was told for me to do but the problem persists.

Go to Control panel > Install and remove programs and uninstall all SQL related apps (you must not have many), uninstall NET framework also.

Then download MS NET Framework 2.0 (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=0856eacb-4362-4b0d-8edd-aab15c5e04f5&displaylang=en) and install it.

You also need to reinstall your SQL related apps, if you need them.
