This episode is awesome. It is near perfect. So many great lines. The only thing that could make it even better would be a convo that goes like this:
Wilson: Cancer!
Cameron: Autoimmune!
Wilson: Cancer!
Cameron: Autoimmune!
Wilson: CANCER!
Cameron: AUTOIMMUNE!
Wilson: Autoimmune!
Cameron: Cancer!
Wilson: Ha!
Anyway, about the Illusionist...I really, really liked it...until the twist. That killed it.
Supernatural - "Everybody Loves A Clown"
Reminded me of Stephen King's "It". :D Might start reading it sometime in the future.
Youth Without Youth
It's very pretty, and I like the permise, but it's way too cryptic. I found The Fountain, which deals with similar themes, much more enjoyable.
Kath & Kim
It's priceless!!
Kim: You alright Sharon?
Sharon: Yeah, I've just got butterflies in my tummy.
Kim: Well don't use the upstairs bathroom, I've just put Eponee down..

You guys are insane, Edward Norton is awesomeness. Primal Fear.. Fight Club... American History X... The 25th Hour... Come ON. He's brilliant! I really like the result of mixing his naive look with mature roles.
But actually I didn't like The Illusionist all that much, not because of him, but probably because it came out at the same time as The Prestige, which features Christian Bale and has a much more intricate plot and therefore won my heart. :pi:
And digitizedboy I completely agree about Al Pacino. Because I watched Heat the other day I was having this conversation with my parents about which is better, him or De Niro, and personally I think De Niro has the advantage of changing more with diferent roles. Of course Pacino is great, but he's not very versatile (imo).
Robert De niro is awesome isn't he? Will we ever see another Robert De niro?
I doubt it. You must see a movie called "awakenings" just to see the guys versatility at work. Awesome guy!!

Best Export ever. The US version is a pale comparison.
i just watched "The Grudge 3" and seeing the DVD getting tossed towards me was the only scary thing about the movie, i didn't even know it was out.
my brother's comment was "two hours of my life i'll never get back" and he's only 15!!!

Other than the Snoreteen stuff (and I kept this small hope that 13 would just quit and never show her face again, even though I knew better) ( and WTF? I refuse to believe House fell for their bluff!) it was pretty good, and finally, an interesting patient.

I think it's . . . alright. The whole possession concept is pretty good, and overall it's an entertaining film. Still, I'm not keen on Jesse, and Freddy no longer being restricted to dreams meant no sense.
The original remains the best. "Nancyyyy . . ."
I´m glad I am not the only one who likes the movie :tmb:
I liked how it wasn't a direct continuation of the first film. It had its own idea but used some continuity to connect the films. Very brave decision if you ask me!

I just popped in The Graduate. There's a crack in the centre of the disc, so I'm testing it out. If it doesn't work, I'll either have to buy a new DVD, or wait for Optimum to release it on Blu Ray (which won't be this year, according to their 2009 schedule.)
10,000 BC Possibly one of the ****test movies I've seen all year. I could've forgiven the blatant and excruciating historical and common sensical inaccuracies (I'm sorry, but Mammoth-hunting cavemen travelling from their mountain homeland to a tropical jungle to a sub-Saharan desert in the space of a few weeks, encountering what can only be described as Zulus and Arabs in this time? And then traveling to the vasty superior Arab nation who use Mammoths to build their pyramid in the desert? Ok... I'll stop) if it had a vaguely interesting plotline or characters. Turns out it's **** in all respects. The story was an unforgivable cliche which wasn't even redeemed by any interesting interpretations, dialogue or scenes. Characters were barely even 2-D - I could barely distinguish between them, even when one character was white and the other black!
Terrible.

^ I didn't cry, but I had a pretty bad reaction over Gordon's "death" the first time I watched it. It was even worse because it happened right before the intermission, so I had the whole break to despair about it. :p
Your new avatar is fantastic! :cln:

Probably. :p I don't cry, but I get goosebumps during the scene proceeding Joker's party-crashing (the deaths of the judge and the commissioner.)
One of my top scenes of the movie, even without The Joker, his presence is still there, a foreboding aura around these assassinations. It's so comic book Joker, and I love it :D

Welcome to the wonderful world of Supernatural. :D
Commando, recommended to me by a number of people, even on this forum... Can't say I'm very impressed. In facy, I didn't like it that much. To all those recommending this, I would recommend the fairly recent movie Taken (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0936501/).

haha, and it's exactly the same theme. Daughter gets kidnapped, father goes to the rescue etc.. etc..
But really, you can't take commando seriously. Just check out that bodycount. lol typical 80s action.
Supernatural - Season 3, episodes 12-14.
12. Jus In Bello
13. Ghostfacers
14. Long Distance Call
'Ghostfacers' was awful. I can't stand Ed and Harry, so having them back was bad. Then you've got Sam and Dean acting totally out of character by swearing all of the time, all to get a couple of laughs (which failed). 'Long Distance Call' was a lot better, though. :tmb: Only two episodes left. :(

The story is strikingly similar indeed :p And of course I wasn't taking Commando serious, but even as far as that kind of action movie goes, it just wasn't very good in my opinion...
Latest now: Conan the Barbarian
Seems that movies these days are just a whole lot more fast-paced, for an action movie, this was pretty slow :p
