It's amazing how many movies you can watch when you're in bed the majority of the week with a virus. gee lol. Gattaca is awesome btw. I've never seen it before, but that concept is ****ing awesome! Hated Boondock Saints. So badly stereotyped it's unbelievable. I can't see what people like about it. Even if it is artsy fartsy in places.

The Gift
I like it a lot. Cate Blanchett is an awesome actress, but I like the touching story of being in contact with the dead, and the "thrilling" climax to the story was great too. Sam Raimi's best film if you ask me. Forget the Grudge, that sucked. It lacked emotion, unlike this movie. With great performances from Giovanni Ribisi and Cate herself.
out of reach it was cool i was paying attention to the part where the girl was kidnapped by criminals and it was fun.

So unoriginal and glued together from 10 other horror movies but it still packs an incredible punch and direction/camerawork is excellent. Another horror gem from Norway (Along woth Willmark and both Cold Preys).
Also is it just me or is the music at the start of the trailer the "Road leads to nowhere" song from original Last House on the Left?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is.
Though I don't think the song is called "And the Road Leads to Nowhere," a common misconception. I think it's simply called "Intro/Opening Credits," on the soundtrack, but the line does appear in several of the film's songs.

Not sure. I do remember him talking about the upbeat song that plays during the gang's drive.
Yeah, it certainly is a great song (and I'm glad it plays over the menus.) I don't really understand the criticism the soundtrack gets. Fair enough, most of it is out of place, but in my opinion, the music on its own is fine. The one piece of music I think fits the film perfectly is what plays when Phyllis is slowly stalked then slaughtered, and the "heart-beat" that proceeds it as she jogs through the woods.

Family Guy the one where stewie tries to find his grown up self and goes to california to do so.
Hannibal Rising. Quite a reasonable film, I thought.
Yes Man :D Better than I expected! Plus half way through I expected it was going to be like Click and get reallllly sad towards the end. But it didn't!

House S05E19:
Locked In
Pretty good, but next time you decide to do an episode almost entirely through the patients PoV, you should make sure to choose an actor whose voice is not excruciatingly annoying and hard to understand, ok House producers?

Shameless or Sex Ed? :P.
If Shameless then yes <3. It's so good this year. A lot of people are hating it but I am LOVING it, especially after the appalling season that called itself 5.
I love the whole Paddy-Mimi-Drugs triangle, and the Karen and Jamie situation.
Mad mad mad! :ton:
Shameless is awful nowadays... Series 5 was awful and Series 6 is so unrealistic and stupid. It used to be a gritty and real drama, but now it's like a parody of what it used to be.

I wonder why they don't play it more often (or make new episodes)
Decided to take a day of from studying to recover from my dissertation and as everyone has gone home for Easter I have literally spent the entire day watching Dead Famous on Youtube. I would be lying if I said it was for any reason other than the pretty ghost hunting man.
The Fallen...
I had to watch it in school... its about WW2 and those things... (really sad)
Ghost Whisperer S04E18
The ending was so sweet. ^^
Fast & Furious, wasn't that great, kind of bored me too death, but hey it was cool in some parts, I prefer numero uno though. :tmb:

good movie. It would be great if we could take that "uncaring" attitude in those crappy dull working environments and get away with it. :)

Not a whole film, but I just watched the famous Odessa Steps scene from Battleship Potemkin. I've seen this film before a couple of years ago, but felt the need to re-watch this particular scene on Youtube. Ridiculously ahead of its time.

Serenity
Well I don't know much about the series "Firefly". But I liked this movie quite a lot. It was all a very intense affair and works just well as stand alone IMO.

If you liked Serenity, then it's definitely worth looking into Firefly. The show got cancelled early so it only has 14 episodes, but they're all brilliant. You can get the DVD for around Ģ10 nowadays.
