Right, well....supposedly...Natla created all these skinless atlanteans....(the torso, centaurs, winged things etc.)
But she also created the Lara doppleganger (I think)
So, I was wondering, does anyone know why she did it?

not sure why exactly,
but supposedly to make an exact copy of lara, she just wasn't done with it...
we could've found out why if only we didn't have to kill it :)
yeah....I was just wondering why she wanted the copy....
And she must've been stalking Lara or something beforehand....

In the rewards menu -> characters (or something) it sais that she is dangerous :) but she doesn't do anything if you don't :P

To kill Lara. If Lara fought her doppleganger, it would fight back. It can do anything Lara can do. When Natla realized she killed her and saw that she reached the top she had a better idea, and decided that maybe they could RULE THE WORLD together!

^ I doubt it, seeing as it got swallowed up in a pit of lava. Someone suggested (Quasi, I think) that it could be a new breed of doppleganger that Natla had bred to a more advanced stage.
Anything goes, I guess. I'm still convinced it's Lara though.
As for Bacon Lara, I never really thought it was supposed to be Lara herself. Just a drone that would copy the movements of whoever entered the room.
l always thought Bacon Lara was just something the pyramid itself created as part of its security, it would have got rid of most trespassers. Considering the cat mummies were guarding Qualopec, and the centaurs were guarding Tihocan's tomb l think the only ones Natla created without the others would have been the torso monster and what ever she created the first time that were supposedly all destroyed. Natla's contribution to the Atlantean army was probably the flying warriors.

no, because the woman was somewhat smiling in the video, which the doppelganger doesnt have emotions.
and Lara already had a doppelganger, which she killed.
Oh I geddit.....
It's more of a mimic than a specific Lara based baddie

she basically created the doppleganger to prevent Lara from stoping her foolish plans ^_^
I don't think it's something Natla created. It is just a "security feature". Anyone who enters the room sees a really freaky version of themselves.

I always felt really sorry for Bacon Lara as she was tricked by Lara into falling into the fire pit in TR1, but maybe she survived due to her extra thick skin :yik:
Anyway, ten years on in TR Anniversary, I thought she would want revenge on Lara :mis:

i agree with aussie here. she's a security measure the pyramid created as a defense against intruders. she's placed in a room with a few other more aggressive atlanteans hoping that in the confusion of the fight, Lara will indiscriminately shoot all enemies in the room, including the doppelganger, and therefore weaken or even destroy herself.

If the doppelganger blew up the mansion, that means lara herself had blow up the mansion, because the doppelganer copies only what lara does.:ton:

Didn't kid and kold get one too tho and they died, unless anyone wants to spin some othre crazy 'Larson lives' tyoe theory that they didn't and everyone lived happily ever after and had a cocktail party after the game
