Yeah, that does seem like a good graphics card and should be able to handle TRU fine :wve:

9600GT is pretty medium A proper 8800 GTS would totally blow it out though.

call me crazy but i thought the 9600 was better than the 8800?

edit: indeed the 8800 GTS is better it seems than the 9600 GT - it has faster memory and texture fill rate (*on the 512 MB version )

The 640 and 320 MB version of the 8800 GTS have slower core, shader, and memory clock speeds. However they have a higher memory interface (320bit vs. 256bit). The texture fill rate on those two are only slightly faster than the 9600 GT.

as long as it is pci-e card it will fit in the slot. cant find dimensions right now though (and that depends on how much space is in the box you have).

I have 2 pci-express slots I think , but is the card that I said I want to buy worth it ? I have to mention that I don't play any other games except Tomb Raider , well maybe RE , so I am not really interested in running Crysis on high I only want to be able to run TRU and future TR's at medium to high/very high settings . Thanks for your time . ..

Thank you for your reply:hug: but is it really good? From a quick comparison between the first one I posted with this one the first one (9600) seems superior

Go for 9600 it's indeed better :)

GeekOfComedy, if you're unsure about the vendor, why advising to buy this video board, which is poorer than the initial one (http://www.emag.ro/placi_video/placa-video-gainward-geforce-9600gt-1024mb-gddr3-256bit-hdmi-pci-e--pBP9600GT-1024-HDMI-DD-DP-GS) BTW.
