my current video card is just not cutting it. i'm a graphic designer and routinely work with images that are 4000px in height or width. i also need to be able to smoothly design and view large scale flash animations.

example: http://www.facelesspeople.com/

i also need dual monitor support.

it's prolly worth noting that i'm not gaming on this machine and don't plan to.

i'm running windows XPMC. i have an AMD athlon 64 3500+ running at 2.19GHz with 1GB of ram. lemme know if you need any more info that i have not provided.

also, should i be thinking about getting more ram?

thanks in advance. :wve:

1. Tell us your budget (for VB and RAM)?
2. Do you have AGP or PCI-E slot (if unsure, run Diagnose.exe (http://www.tombraiderhub.com/download/diagnose.exe) and post the report)?

Generally, you need a good 2D-capable VB - ATI Radeon x1xxx series with dual DVI will be nice :tmb:
