View Full Version : Freak Accident With Texmod

If you're a Star Trek fan you'll know that one of the things some Enterprise crew members are afraid of is a transporter accident, getting their atoms mixed up with someone else's. Seems Lara has had a similar accident with Texmod.:D

The two outfits are; Egyptian Raider by Babyjane and Anniversary Red Sport by Croftscionguard. It took me a while to work out how it happened: both packages had been loaded into Texmod but I only chose Egyptian Raider and this was the result:). I think this effect may have been caused by the fact that they're both based on the same outfit?

I tried it (intentionally) with Zipper's Kill Bill based on the catsuit and Babyjane's Wrath of the Dragon based on Croft Manor Sport. I chose Wrath of the Dragon and then selected Croft Manor Sport on replay and this was the result:

I wonder what else you can do with this?:mis: Has anyone else had something similar?

Definitely. We did some testing a few weeks ago with BJ, and you can totally run several mods of the same outfit at the same time. If the same texture is modded by both (or all the 3, 4...), it's the first one (the highest .tpf in TexMod) that will prevail. :)

Interesting.:) This is the only combination that I've tried where the textures seem to be split 50/50 between the two outfits though.
It made me jump a bit when I first saw the load screen; talk about creepy.:D:cln:

I tried doing this many times, with weapons eg. using Rose with Blonde Look :p

You can get an even better effect by combining TexMod and Tomb Ripper mods, since you can control which individual texture you want to replace in Tomb Ripper. For example, see this lovely fusion (http://www.tombraiderforums.com/showpost.php?p=1639940&postcount=148) of Black Pearl by Alex Fly and Red Tartan by Baby Jane. :D The only incongruous bit is her fingers.

Now that is good.:D Unlike my "creation", I think I'd have to describe that as disturbing.:cln: I don't make mods I only run other people's and I've got Texmod. Is there anywhere I can download Tomb Ripper mods? Only I noticed that there are only a few outfits on Tomb Raider Hub that have Tomb Ripper versions.
