Folks, I have some stunning news for you:
Like the title says, you are able to play Thailand on Ps3 and Xbox 360 at Games Convention in Leipzig.

Here's the translation:
As a world premiere Eidos will showcase the new Lara Croft Adventure "Tomb Raider Underworld" on Games Convention. You will be the first people. who are able to control Lara through one level on Xbox 360 and Play Station 3. While doing this, you can take a closer look at Lara, Thailand and the new graphics, even before the game hits stores on Nov 21st.
Who is the Lara Croft model for Games Convention, wasn't said by Lars Winkler (Marketing Leader at Eidos Germany) but he said we should stay tuned for some information about the model next week.
Eidos will showcase his products in Hall 3, Stall 20 included Tomb Raider Underworld.

I think that if it was being released online, we'd have been alerted by now.
And it shouldn't just be a 360 or PS3 demo, the first thing that should come out demo wise is a PC demo, and why release an official demo NOW?

if a demo comes out... i don't wanna play it! I wanna fell what i felt when I played TR for the 1st time! (i didint had net before, the only thing I had was a magazine...:D) the sense of new, special, entusiasm to see how it looks...
and for that i can't play the demo.

It should be a good idea for an early release of the Demo, so that People can study the Graphics, Gameplay, Controls, Ledges, Camera movements, Adrenalin thing, Caera with Hints and how sending Pictures over the Internet works.
We really want Crystal to do something right, so lets play the Demo and decide the Fate of the Game. ;)

Hey guys, don't worry! It will be on the Games Convention only for PS3 and Xbox 360, and this is always so. There are really few games which you can play there on PC, apart from the games which will be released exclusively for PC. So, don't worry, if there will be demo for us here at home to download on PS3 and Xbox 360, then there will be a PC demo, too. :)

for some reason i don't want it to be the whole level, wouldn't it be somewhat not special if you already played the full level before the game even came out. for me i kind of wish it was like the Heavenly Sword demo but a bit more longer, even though the demo was pretty short, but it was still good it showed you the basics of everything. but then again we don't have much about underworld so maybe, just maybe it will be okay to have full level demo...look at me i'm contradicting myself lol

I think security will search everyone. :D (Although cellphones mostly have videorecording possibilities now too, which can not be handed in at the checkpoint for safety of property reasons, I think they may be allowing camera's after all.)

Guys, seriously. There is no way that some demo from a Game Convention is going to filter down for the public to play or download this early. The most logical time for an official demo to come out for PC or other gaming systems will be anywhere from October to Early November so stop putting down that you hope for a demo to be released to the public because its just getting other people going and their hopes up as well and there is no need for that kind of disappointment so cut it out.
I'm sure someone will record a video of the demo showed at the convention... :D

As to the above comments, you did not get the Mexico demo, you did not get the Mediterranean demo and no you will not be getting the Leipzig Thailand demo either. It will likely be the same one shown to the press last month, and it will not be available to the public, you want a chance to play it, go to the convention, otherwise you will have to wait till November most likely for the demo to be released, and l doubt it will be Thailand.

I can't see us getting the demo. I just said I can't wait until it does appear on PSN... whether it'd be the Med level or the Thailand. I'm sure we'll get one or the other by October.

I think aussie500 was talking about the playable demo that will be released to the public anytime soon and he doubted that this would be Thailand. Nevertheless I personally believe that they'll release the GC demo because it's the first one that was created especially for a larger audience than media representatives.

We've not been shown how to complete the puzzles, and who said that they were the main puzzles of the levels? No-one has forced you to look at any media that has been released so far, you have no-one to be angry at but yourself if you've had parts of the game spoiled.

Good to hear that people will be able to go hands-on with the game at Leipzig. If I wasn't already on holiday, I'd be looking for some deals on flights to get me there, I can tell you! Hopefully we'll see some more in-game footage coming out of GC. I'd say it's pretty likely if the game will be on the shop floor, so to speak.

Games are always available to play at conventions months before demos are released to the public at large. It's not dishonest in any way. The convention is open to the public, anyone who wants to go and play can.
The 'demo' on-floor at GC will not be released this week, mark my words. Legend's and Anniversary's demos were released a couple of weeks before the full games, presumable to represent the games in the most favourable (i.e. most complete) state. What makes you think the demo for TRU would be released 3 months before the final game? I, for one, do not want a demo this early, because I can guarantee I'd play it again and again and again and by the time the game is released I'd be sick and tired of that portion of the game.
