Just caught the news from a friend about a member of Dave Matthews Band who had supposedly passed away.. I was shocked and immediately rushed to www.davematthewsband.com - only to be faced with the horrible truth...

I've never experienced this before: death impacting on one of my favourite bands... I feel really strange.. I tried calling one of my friends, but he doesn't pick up, but I'm sure my text will sadden him as well...

Apparently he died from injures caused by an accident on June 30th.. I don't know what to say, besides how truly grateful I am that I saw them in London last year.. I know it's selfish and all, but if he died before I'd seen them perform I would've been even more devastated..

Rest in peace, LeRoi Moore.. And my prayers to the rest of Dave Matthews Band, it must be a terrible time for them...

Yeah, I did.. Thank God.. I never knew how the death of a 'stranger' could affect you before... Right now I'm listening to one of my favourite DMB albums, the sound of the sax is so completely different now...

Thank you for replying, Mr. Peter :)

That's sad :( RIP. I never heard his music before, but I think his legacy won't be forgotten :)

OMG that's sad:( And it was only 19 days before his 47th birthday which made him 46 :( 563 months old. I remember Marvin Gaye when he died but i wasn't even born yet. Marvin Gaye died at only 44 the day before his 45th birthday 539 months old

Yeah, I heard about this the other day. Such awful news; he was really talented. :( My condolances to his family.
