I want to watch some videos of .mov extension, but WMP can't play them.
Webhelp shows me the following error:

You've encountered error message C00D11B1 while using Windows Media Player.
it says need update for sound driver or so...

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/webhelp/default.aspx?&mpver=11.0.6001.7000&id=C00D11B1&contextid=83&originalid=80004005
i checked for updates and there is no update at all...
it said :That the best driver software is already installed...

sounddriver: realtek high definition audio...
windows: vista home premium..

any idea what to do?

My choices for *.mov playing :

QuickTime Alternative
or
VLC Media Player

(both are free).

Or just install recent codecs (http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Video/Codec-Packs-Video-Codecs/KLite-Mega-Codec-Pack.shtml) :)

I would also use QuickTime Alternative (Media Player Classic) and/or VLC Media Player.
I wouldnt install codec packs, such as Codec Pack All in One stuff without knowing what i'm installing.

The complete list of changes, BTW :mis: Just trouble yourself to think and choose Custom setup instead of Full or Typical :p
