So that everyone knows, I'm a big fan of the Silent Hill Series. I think the games show a real attempt at frightening its viewers and the stories are creative and interesting. Has anyone here played Silent Hill 1, 2, or 3? If so which is your favorite? Mine is the second one. I've always thought it was very mysterious and each of the levels, from the bar, to under the museum were frightening. I think Konami knows what they're doing. ;)

Don't play at night, alone, with the volume on high! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/c-2.gif ) http://www.konami-europe.com/silenthill3/site/src/gallery/dm_meet_again_01.jpg http://www.konami-europe.com/silenthill3/site/src/gallery/bg_ch_al_01.jpg http://www.konami-europe.com/silenthill3/site/src/gallery/bg_ch_belfry_03.jpg http://www.silenthill2.de/src/specials/screenshot13.jpg http://www.silenthill2.de/src/specials/screenshot3.jpg

I haven't played 3, but I love the first two. They're classic horror games.

I Agree I love part 2 ,but I like part 3 too. Can't wait till the 4th one comes out. I saw some screenshots in a magazine ,but I can't remember which one.

I'm amongst the few that never tried any of them.

However, payday dawned on me last friday with a few extra figures... I might...

I tried Silent Hill 3, but I didn't like it. Actually, I played only about 10 minutes of it and realized survival horror games aren't my thing. It's not that they're scary (I wouldn't know, I haven't played up to the scary parts yet), I just don't like the type of atmosphere they create. Everything's rusty, old, dark, and dirty. Reminds me of the public bathrooms ;)
