DVD Burners?

Can anyone recommend me a good DVD burning program? All the ones I've downloaded are either a nightmare to use or require you to pay before you unlock all their feature,s which I'd rather not do. Any ideas appreciated! :)

Thanks, but I've gone with several different programs and NONE of them can recognise my DVD drive! WTF mate! I've got a CD only program and it never has problems so I can't figure out what the problem is! ARGH!

Can anyone recommend me a good DVD burning program? All the ones I've downloaded are either a nightmare to use or require you to pay before you unlock all their feature,s which I'd rather not do. Any ideas appreciated! :)

I use Nero Express which I got free with my notebook. I always disable Nero Scout tho. Unfortunately, you can't append to sessions unlike the full version of Nero, or unlike Windows proprietary burning software. The only reason I don't use Windows proprietary software is because it doesn't offer a 'verify data integrity' option, which is very important.

voni.. place a regular CD into the drive. if the disc gets read by the computer and you can see it in "my computer" post a screen shot of it.

then do the following:
1. right click "my computer"
2. click "manage" on the menu that appears
3. in the left side tree structure choose "disk management"
4. maximize that window and post a screen shot.

5. right click on the drive in that window (where it says CD-ROM)
6. click on "properties"
7. post a screen shot of THAT window as well.

OR the cable is old and has no key-knob, therefore turned over at one side (MoBo or drive) :)
