OK http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif
aww that sucks :( http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/hug.gif
but i guess its best to have a **** box, then you can save up for a car that you can call your own because you bought it http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif thats what i plan on doing.
Celli, At least you have a car. Don't judge a car by it's framework ;)
I was hoping that if I could get the Cougar, it would be in good enough shape to last me through college.....but what good does that do you when your parents tell you they've never bothered to save money for you to go college?
I like how I have no decision now whatsoever in my life now. My parents play with my mind and make me think I could actually get a car I want, when they're just going to pick whatever the hell they feel like getting. I pretty much can't go to college now....since thanks to my parents there will be no money for me to go. Yet look at the 'nice' new expensive deck, vinyl siding, new front door, the driveway being paved.... Guess we know where the money for college went......

Except if it's a burnt-out wreck. Plenty of them around in ned-ville. You got a car - you're lucky! ;)

Parents are like that, I know. No parent's will can be bent once it's set.
My mom had the nerve the other day to tell me that my job pretty much is worthless.
Thanks mom, thanks for the confidence builder... Oh, but please! Don't stop bragging to everyone about everything I've accomplished, even though you're embarassing me and want to see like you're better than everyone.
I told my aunt today, that if I end up not being able to go to college 'thanks' to my parents, I'm moving in with my brother because I couldn't stand one more year living with my parents.
Oh dear Celli, is there anywhere else you can get the money from??? :(
My mom keeps telling me to get scholarships, but a $1,000 scholarship isn't going to do a whole lot of go. Pay for two months of room and board at U of M, Ann Arbor maybe....

my mom was like yeah sure you can get your belly button pierced. and she was all serious too. but yeah she just laughed one day and was like you believed me?!
i just read this over again and missed like 5 replies.. but your mom thinks your job is worthless?!?! ... does she even KNOW what you're doing??? sheesh. you're doing a great thing w/ your job http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
now cashiering at a supermarket is a worthless job not trying to prevent people from smoking and what not.
Apparently it's worthless because I make $6. My mom is annoying the **** out of me this summer. After I got my job at Connexion, she told me I should get a job working at Wendy's.
If anyone can make you go into depression, it's my parents.
Celli, don't feel bad. If you have to wait a year or two before starting college, that's ok. Maybe by then you will have figured out a payment plan.
You are very involved with a lot of important issues and I am sure that no matter what happens, You will be a success. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
$6 an hour! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif Kind of left the rest of that out. lol
aww! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/hug.gif dont be depressed, you'll be outa that house before you know it ;) and did you talk to your parents about how you feel?
I tried to today, but my mom just gave me evil looks.
Why couldn't it be June 2004 already and I'd be graduating?
give her evil looks back http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif
and you'll graduate before you know it.
Celli- Ever heard of work/study programs? Student bank loans? Having your parents pay for you to go through college isn't the only option you have. I know plenty of extremely intelligent adults whose families weren't financially stable and they had to work and pay for themselves to go to college.
I talked to my mom more, and there's at least enough money set aside for me to go to U of M, Flint. So that's better than a community college. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/yuck.gif
And after more talking, the Cougar is still in the running, and looking the best so far. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif
Hopefully tomorrow we're going to go and 'look into' getting the Cougar. Hopefully! :D
We were actually supposed to have gone yesterday, but then the entire power outage thing kind of effected our plans to do so. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

What is wrong with community college?

Gag me with a spoon!Celli, Celli, Celli..............I'll let you in on a little secret: Not all women look at a man's car first, to see if he's worthwhile to go out with. And the second biggest reason to get the older car: THE BACK SEAT IS MUCH ROOMIER!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/jumper.gif

Absolutely nothing, or everything, I don't know!!!!!!!!! All I know is that I'm having a lot of fun, and that is what I think this forum is all about. That, and being able to talk to funny, intelligent, and just plain nice people http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/hug.gif
I'm feeling all warm and fuzzy tonight.
