I saw this picture and the symbol on that statue looks like Amanda's necklace.

They probably put that symbol there to raise questions and, perhaps, it was meant to stay there until they made up a different symbol?
Besides...eidos has never created a REAL sequel like this before. Maybe we should just wait and see...

There were lots of unanswered questions in Tomb Raider Legend and Tomb Raider Anniversary, hopefully we will learn thee truth in Tomb Raider Underworld. ;)

The pendent was from that cave down in peru. So Mabye fluffy and Norse have something in common.

Always thought the necklace would play some sort of role in Legend's continuation.

Not quite sure what you mean by the head under Thor's real head, but if you mean the skull symbol on his armour, yes it was visible in one of the video's, it was also visible on the door Lara opened to get to the Thor statue in the screenshot.

We had them in Tomb Raider long before Gears of War was even thought of, in fact that one looks very like the symbol on Kurtis's top, which was not doubt inspired by a similar symbol elsewhere. Similar skull was seen in TR4, but the one in the new Tomb Raider games is a bit different, not your typical skull.

I think it probably is another connection that the Norse mythology is weaved into Avalon more than Lara knows... maybe even saying that Vikings were knew something about Avalon. Its pretty cool :)

if you've played Tomb Raider Legend, then you know that the Necklace can summon Fluffy, Amanda's 'ghost' pet.
I suppose that the necklace has more use... maybe to get in the Underworld, or maybe it's stronger in the Underworld.. hmm:pi:

Considering Lara took the pendant after she beat Amanda; Fluffy, Excalibur, Thor's Gaunlet, Belt, Hammer, and SOMEHOW Atlantis are all connected.
Psh, this better be as awesome as it is in my head.
That's just the skull's forehead. Nothing special to me...

You mean with the highly advanced civilisation that seems to be present in Legend also. The skulls do look unnatural because of the big forehead.
Technology seems to be far more advanced then any ancient civilisation would be able to achieve.
I wonder, for some reason I hope not. Fiction is okay for me in the tomb raider games but Science Fiction is a big step up. I think I really would have to get used to that idea. Wasn't it planned already in TR1 about aliens being involved in the story? Nephilims were from what I can recall and that was played out brilliantly in AOD.
I did like the Area51 in TR3 but basing a complete game around them would be a bit too much in my opinion.

Loadsa symbols look like alien heads
It'd be a bit crappy if they used aliens in the story...I'll put up with atlanteans...but if they try to say they came form another planet, I'll be somewhat dissapointed

check recent magazine previews dotted in the site, they mention she is the owner of the ship (I think) and has Natla captive in a tube :p
anyways, I'm really loving all these small theories! Hopefully CD are good enough to make MASSIVE links with all these :D

Someone who played the demo down in Africa said that Natla was in the tube,-In the gameplay trailer, the wing at the bottom left corner at the end is in fact Natla's. :) Also, they said that Amanda had Natla in the tube, and that Amanda still kind of looks the same as Legend, but Natla has her hair cut. But yeah, anyway, it's been confirmed from people who have played the different demos. And magazine articles.

I am thinking that the necklace and the skull on Thor are connected in the sense they must of shared a common ancestry. I bet that the rulers of Atlantis probably created these two different civilizations. Maybe the reason Thor's was really created was because the makers new Natla would someday come back? All this is speculation of course-which is the best part!

It sounds very accurate. B/C the first level is indeed the manor, than in another article it did say that it would show 2 weeks earlier or something. Also, the natla and amanda thing has been pointed out in several articles as well.

Yes, but in some parts of the world, they get to play more than others. In the UK I think they played alot of the Thailand level, and in Africa I assume they played the MEd level.

If she's right, I'm going to laugh. Why is it so hard to believe that this is correct. I;m sure it's dead on. Alot of the things she said have already been confirmed in mags. They prob. just didn't reveal as much.

Exactly. He knows that it gave away alot of info on it, hence why he deleted it. I even PM'd him asking if it was too revealing and he never responded, and before that he was Pming me back right away then he suddenly stopped even though he was still on. So, therefore I believe it was spot on.

Yep. :) That's why I'm believing her. I mean, he didn't have to delete it, if it's just something about little spoilers than it should be left. Unless they are changing a few things to the game and they don't want people to get their hopes up. IDK

In TR:A Tihocan said something about his army. I think that Fluffy was his soldier (just like Natla and her mummies). Tihocan had this thing on his neck to control army. Now Amanda has it - so she can (or could - if Fluffy is dead) control it.
