I upgraded mine last week. Pretty easy, but would have probably been easier if I watched this video first! :p

cool, i might upgrade to a 200/250 gig at christmas, but i don't have an external drive so i'll just have to back up my saves on a card then reinstal my games :)

Does anyone know what's the biggest hard drive you could install?

You know the way if you try to put a 250G into a REALLY old laptop the way it doesn't work...Cause, I reckon I'd slpash out and get the biggest one I could...

I never knew it was so easy...

It doesn't even void the warantee, does it?

I think the biggest they make in that size (2.5 inches) is 500gig or roughly that. you could put in a 3.5 inch (it will stick out the end though) and they go up to like 1.5TB

3.5″ 102 mm 1.5 TB[6]
2.5″ 69.9 mm 500 GB[16]

and the kind of hard drive was invented in 2003 so it has to be the right type... and size

Ah, I think 500G would suffice for now :p

I was more wondering about the capacity more than the physical size and if there was a limit....

I think I'll probably just go for a 250 or 320G...should be more than enough

thanks for the help though
