View Full Version : What are you going to do the day before?
I was thinking last night before going to sleep what am I going to do the day before release of Underworld. I'm curious on what you guys are possibly going to do.
I'm going to be a tomb raider freak after college, and not come out of my room for hours and hours. My day i will have college come home (i think i only got a few hours on thursday as of this month sometime (i think)) get home start on anniversary form the begining (as it is Lara's first thing) and then Legend. Try and complete both the day before as much as possible so both stories are fresh in my brain and then i will be all ready for the next day as i have no college on that day :D
But yeah i'm just curious on what you lot or possibly going to do, be Tomb Raider Freaks as well or just have a ordanary day?

i'll beat Legend and Anniversary again. Then I'll be ready for Underworld. =)
Since I'm from Canada, it will be out on a tuesday (November 18th) so I'll be at school.
And I'll ask my father to take the game for me because I don't know why but beeing a Tomb Raider fan is not something I want everybody to know about loll.
I'll probably be playing TRU, as ALL of the last 5 new games I have preordered have arrived in the post THE DAY BEFORE RELEASE!!
I hope TRU does the same.

I unfortunately will be studying for/working on finals the day before, the day of, the day after, and the day after that. Then on that last day, I have to wait till about 9:30 PM to actually play the game, because I promised a friend we would both watch me play the game at the same time.

Hmmmm. Well, I already re-played TRA and TRL. I might watch the cutscenes over again to get a feel of the story again. Or I might just wait and wait and wait. haha

Oh, normal stuff. Just go to school, walk the dog, play some Top Spin, go on TRF, tell my mom to go to Best Buy or Gamestop in the morning to get it for me, and if I have time I will play TRL or TRA. :jmp:

Well on that day I'll stay up till midnight to the 21st Nov, in bed, and when that time comes. I'll turn my light out, listen to the TRU main theme on my MP3 of course!
Even though I have to wait 4 weeks and 6 days, till I get the game... after it's release... ;)

Just an ordinary day for me. I am a big TR fan, but my life is my life! I'm not even sure I'll have the game at once!
Nothing,the day before the game I just don't care,now it's hard to do something without be impatient. ´:p

I will not revise for my A-levels and fail.
I will then be able to play TRU undisturbed!

Umm go to work and think about playing TRU :D maybe when I get bored, go to TRC to browse the forums and TRU microsite for additional info I mightve missed the day before. :)

well usually when you preorder from Gameplay, the game comes day before release, so hopefully I'll be playing TRU! :D
but the days before.... I'll be replaying TRA and TRL for sure!

Yeah, I'll probably play TRL and TRA all day, and then pick up my copy at midnight. :)
Well my school has a day off on the day of underworlds release!:D (teacher training day). I think i'll just go to my local tesco and pick up a copy (they always have loads):ton: then i'll probably just play all day:jmp:
I might flick through legend/TR:A cutscenes to refresh my memory. I doubt I'll play through legend though. I want to be looking forward to playing it, not dreading "Oh god, what if it's too much like this?!"

Good idea. :tmb: It seems that everything (including ending cinematics) gets released a week before release. I knew everything about TRA before I played it. I had even seen the end. I refuse to give in like that again. I want to be shocked. :mis:

Same :tmb: It's so hard not to watch the videos. I especially want to be surprised with this game considering we already knew pretty much what would happen in TRA since it was a remake. But yeah it's going to be hard to avoid the spoilers and to resist the temptation to look but I think I'll manage somehow. :p
well ill be working and then after prob go play the demo ill asume itl be out by then lol

I dunno because I will buy later than November 21th.
However I will play Anniversary and try to beat 100% and then Legend in next-gen to compare gfx.
I might finish also GRID Gears of War and F.E.A.R
Play Legend and Anniversary before my pre-order arrives so I can continue with the story.....
I wish, but I will be working. :(

well im gettin it a month after it comes out bcoz exactly a month later its my bday:D:D 21st december is my bday btw:D:D
The game is most probably be available until 1-3 days later on my local gameshop, so i'll probably be on my bed alone eating chocolate ice cream while reading on TRF about the people who are already playing it :( :p
j/k, i know you are pretty much on the same, my European friends :hug: :)
Probably getting crazy about all the people who have connections to get the game early on. (Like gamestore workers, etc...)
But for the rest... probably playing TR4 or AOD which I'm doing again to get my daily dose of raiding.
And of course busy with school projects :rolleyes:
I would:
a. explode into flames from impatience.
b. play the demo over and over and over again until I nearly drown myself from drooling too much.
--or--
c. try to contain myself, and wait like a good dog (I'm highly doubtful about this though...)
Eh...I'm probably exaggerating just a little bit.

College, Work, think about TRU, study for finals, Think about TRU some more, play through all past games with the TRU main theme song. (its epic if you play during the Ghana Level :D). Seeing as how gamestop gives me the game the day AFTER, I will think about TRU some more. ;)

Hopefully EIDOS/Sci uses their 3 Million Pound ad campaign to good use to hype it up for release.
How can they spend that money on publicity?
(I imagine to a little pig dressed like Lara Croft and swimming all around in a pool completely full of money...3 million pounds exactly)
