Those who currently are playing Devil May Cry 4:
Did you know that Dante actually uses his rose in battle to detonate the Lucifer sword spikes? Gosh how did I miss out on that? Its such a cool addy to all the moves he already makes.
He really is a man in a class of his own.
I wouldn't call Dante classy, far from it, but as far as over the top Video game characters who have the minimum amount of characterisation and spouts dialogue rejected from a Dolph Lundgren movie on the grounds of being too cheesy, he is pretty damn cool.
This doesn't warrant it's own thread though.
Yep I saw that. It's so cool. They are always great new weapons in each DMC game. The developpers have a lot of imagination. :)

I didn't picture you to be one who plays Devil May Cry Cat. But I would have hardly noticed that animation seeing as how I hate Lucifer with a passion. ;)

Well compared to other game characters who personally can be classified as overbearing horndogs (Duke Nukem being one of them,) Dante comes off as Prince Charming. Scratch that, compared to them, he IS Prince charming. Just goes to show, if you're an empty horndog of character, you need to be a good swordsman, gunfighter, fleminco dancer, ice-skater, Shakesperian actor, and an all around cool acrobatic suavre personality in order to score points in my book.
If you're none of the above and are a horndog, you're not worth my time.

They really did this time. The combat system alone is worth buying this game (or atleast renting it for quite a period of time.) Nero may come off as your cliche cry baby, but Dante manages to bring in humor to the whole story which IMO was well worth it.

I LOVE that weapon Lol! And I am an AA game addict. Except for the recent disappointment with TR games, POP and DMC have really captured my interest. I am kinda looking forward to Bayonetta as well.
