Changing the CPU may lead to changing also MoBo and RAM very likely. Therefore
A. Post your maximum budget (considering you may need CPU+MB+RAM).
B. Tell us what do you plan to use your upgraded PC for mostly.
C. Run Diagnose.exe (http://www.tombraiderhub.com/download/diagnose.exe) and post the report for us to know what do you have now and its upgradeability.

I plan to create a computer, not to upgrade.
Budget? Limit of processor is 170€, I plan for gaming and... well writing lol.

OK.... I posted LOOKY HERE (http://www.tombraiderforums.com/showpost.php?p=3035514&postcount=15) Some of EscondeR's reccomendations + some of my own choices.
(You may want to read the WHOLE of this thread )

BTW... I have now purchased AND built this into a PC .... Working GREAT :tmb:

I'd reccomend the E8500.I bought mine for 230$ a few months ago.It's a dual core processor,45nm and the factory frequency is 3.16GHz.It'll provide more than enough horsepower for most of the games out there.
