I honestly don't get it.. I meet all the requirements, except my videocard. All my videocard features are ok, just that it's nog high enough or something.

But the game runs POORLY! Even without special things enabled like AA and Vsync and stuff. My specs:

Do you have video drivers and DirectX updated?

I bought my laptop January or February this year, so how old can they be? :p

Are you talking hardware or software wise? Cause I have no idea how to update them, do you mean like buying a newer version, or updating the software online?

Drivers obviously mean software :p Download from www.nvidia.com and DirectX from MS.

Sorry, total noob at this stuff. The Nvidia update asks wheter I have a 32-bit windows vista, or 64-bit.. how should I know? Automatically finding the driver didn't help either. I understand that it's a 8 series.. but I don't understand the 32-bit part.

EDIT: I tried and this was the result:

I have to be honest and say that your instructions aren't particularly clear.. what am I suppose to do with the DirectX update? I went to microsoft.com and searched for DirectX, but I don't know what version I have and I don't know what the latest is.. why don't these things just have an UPDATE button? And where can I find what version of DirectX I have?

Recommended Setting Failed But Minimum Passed. Same For Me (As NZone & Other Not Detect Clock Speed Etc)

Anyway You Can Play The Game With Full Settings Upto 1024x768. A Quad-Core Processor Upgrade & OverClocking Give You A Performence Boost Upto 1440x900. As Your Video Card Is Only 256 MB. Other Memory Is Shared From System RAM Cause Of Vista AERO Graphics.

After All You Have Passed. Happy Gaming.

May You Understand What I Want To Say. :)

Sorry...

1. Download and install THIS (http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_x86_178.24_whql.html) driver for your 8600GT video board.
2. Ensure you have Administrator rights on your PC.
3. Go to Start > Programs > Eidos > TRU demo and run TRU Demo Setup shortcut.
4. Choose 1024x768 resolution, untick FullScreen FX, Water FX, Shadows and Reflections. Untick Tripple buffering and set Filtering to Trilinear. Ensure you have FSAA disabled.
5. Try running TRU demo again.
