Ok. The other day I just got done put songs on my iPod, and it's a 1.80 GB. So, I had 368 out 370 on my iPod, and I decided to plug it in my Xbox 360 and listen to it while playing Mirrors Edge. When I turned it on, my TV turned black and my 360 made a funny sound. I unplugged my iPod and turned it off, and I turned it back on and it wouldn't turn on. My iPod is old too. It's about 2 and a half years old. :(

So it's been about 3 days now and it's still not working. I don't know if my 360 caused it or I did. I have $275 for my birthday and I was going to use part of it to buy Tomb Raider: Underworld, or wait and get it for Christmas and go ahead and buy an iPod touch.

I don't know what I should do. :hea:

Thats weird, when I had the iPod video (good old days) I could plug it into my 360 and it worked. You tried resetting your iPod? and try download the iPod support driver thing for ur 360 from Xbox Live.

Have you tried resetting it?
I just got my ipod a few weeks ago and that work for me. Soon after I got my ipod it wouldn't turn on. (it's a 3rd gen nano) I really thought I might have to send it back. But re-setting it worked great.

here is what you do
Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.
Here is the link for that
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1320?viewlocale=en_US
and this link has one or two other things you can do
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1383?viewlocale=en_US

I hope that works for you too!

Follow Apple's five 'R's of iPod troubleshooting (http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/five_rs/). These steps include some of the already mentioned ones, and will fix most iPod problems.

Try to reset it BEFORE plugging into XboX and try turning on your iPod BEFORE plugging into XboX as well.

yeah, I had the same problem too, my ipod was unresponsive when I hooked it into the computer to charge. Nothing came up and it wouldn't turn on at all. Just try resetting it anyway. Hopefully it will work and has enough battery left.

It won't let me go into my iTunes because my iPod is not responding, so I can't reset it. :hea:
