My mate subscribes and told me that EDGE have scored TRU 8/10, which is very impressive as those in the know will attest! I'll try and post it up tomorrow if I can buy a copy in town. :)
Very happy l am with that considering how hard the edge guys can be, looking forward to reading the review. :D

...but if they reviewed the 360 version then it's all clear. :p

That'd be great :). We've known on here for at least a few days that EDGE gave it an 8/10, but no scans have popped up yet. A scan would be sweet for the cumulative review thread that Jin's got going here :tmb:

In the same edition Fallout 3 got a 6,Resistance 2 got another 6 and a few other good games got scores lower than TRU,so woot!:p

How so, l have never noticed EDGE favouring the 360 over any other console, and the XBox 360 game is almost exactly the same as the PS3 version.

I think Legend of Lara is implying that it would make sense if the 360 got that score beacuse it's better then the PS3 version. Just look at his sig.:D

Wow! I would never think Underworld would get a better score than Fallout 3! I guess i'm not the only one who didn't like it as much as i expected to!

Nice. They probably skipped the cutscene and everything else related to the story though. Otherwise...:whi:.
PS: Yeah. I know it's annoying that I'm always bashing the story. But I just don't want the next game to have a story as bad as Legend/Underworld.

A review is of the entire game, it would only be a preview if they had only played part of the game. Or in Australia the Official Playstation magazine would call it a review if they had played none of the game and just watched a few video's.

I downloaded the demo, I hated that game it gave me a horrible headache and all you control are 2 floating hands.. :(

I was angry because the cutscenes were all this anime sh!t. You only see one in-game model of the main characters face and its in the last 5 seconds of the game. :| Also, the dialogue was awful. It was hard to stomach how amazing graphics could all tie into something so........stale...

For all this talk of bias (they gave LBP a 10 so I don't quite understand the view!!), EDGE remains one of the most credible sources of videogame critique. They're notoriously critical, but to their credit incredibly accurate, with well-written reviews and features. Think the exact opposite of the Australian PS magazine. ;)
