I'm asking in behalf a friend of mine, she purchased the X360 version and seem to be having two issues:

1. PIX 60 changed from PIX50:

It is a Sharp 32" wide-screen TV, model 32JF-73H. BTW, I wrote PIX 60 change from PIX50, in fact I should have said PAL60 from the standard PAL50. It increases the number of pixels and makes the image smaller to fit onto the screen. Unfortunately, the bottom of the screen is being cut off, I am also using the Red/White/Yellow AV plugs going direct into the front input terminal so I do not have to use the SCART adapter for them.

2. Not being able to exist the game - the "Quit Game" option is not in the menu.

I'm not familiar with X360 (as I don't have one) so would appreciate your help.

For the first issue, it'll be nice to redefine the output signal settings, i.e. press XboX power switch and hold it for 5 secs (AFAIK).

Second issue states a question of legality of this TRU version, or is related to pos 1 as Quit option may be cut due to screen issue.

Thanks! She got her version off Game.co.uk so doubt its illegal. But it does makes sense that the screen issue responsible for the second problem. The last option she listed was "Downloadable Contend" (or something like it) so very possibly its been cut off by the screen.

Will let her know and see if this helps solving both problems. :wve:

Sorry for not editing the previous post but needed to draw attention to this thread.

My friend tried holding the power switch but no good. So she sent me pictures of her Menu screen and to prove the legality a copy of her receipt:

Could this be a defective copy?

I also couldn't find a "quit game option" mine is Xbox 360 version new sealed from gamestation, installed to HDD, connected via HDMI to a 52" full HD Samsung LCD TV..

If she presses the centre button on the 360 controller and chooses dashboard from the menu, it will ask to confirm and that will exit the game..

Its odd there is no obvious game exit though, did she install the game to HDD? possibly something to do with it?

According to my friend it's it is not a HD TV just a regular PAL output with standard definition. But at least now she knows its not a faulty copy. :tmb: Thanks for the dashboard tip. :wve:
