After my TR:Underworld copy eventually came yesterday (with added artbook) i opened the case, inserted the disc and watch the opening play out.
After the short but sweet prologue (how good looking was Croft Manor burning :p).
I was in control of Lara in the Mediterraneean(?) level i tell you no other TR game has ever made me:
Feel like i was (virtually of course) in danger that Kraken was defintealy scary with his tentacles.
And secondly i actually was gneuinly scared and jumped when the Kraken was smashing things.
I must say i am very impressed with this and if it contuines i will be very happy.
Well done CD.

I agree, the game is very impressive.
I have no idea where these bad reviews are coming from. Its certainly the best Tomb Raider yet by far (Yes, i have played all of them).

well ive just got to the arctic and it really is amazing for me! Graphics are amazing, the atmosphere feels genuine and im just loving this wayyy more than i thought it would! theyve done an AMAZING job and I cant wait to get back to the game!!!

Just shows the company names on one screen and goes to the menu. That's it. :wve:

Meant the teaser trailer thing it went straight to the menu lol.
No Small Clip, just goes directly to the Menu Screen, that Sucks. :confused:

Not really it's simple and gets straight to the game. There isn't any need for an intro seeing as the game itself is supposed to be a mystery;)
I hope in the Game we see the Evil Lara blow up the Manor like we saw so many times in the Trailers.

Back on topic: I jumped soooo many times in the Med I was swimming around minding my business and BAM a shark bites me and I was like ":yik:" :vlol: Good job CD :tmb:
I actually really like that the opening just jumps straight to the main menu without me having to press Esc over and over and over just to start playing :D
Just completed the game! It was excellent, I cant believe that this game was made by the same people who made legend.
This game incorporated so many aspects from the classics (TR1-4), yet innovated and evolved the franchise with smashing gameplay! Med sea, was a great opeining to the game, so moody and atmospheric, the Krakens groans, the distant echo's I was totally immersed, well done CD! :)
Like TRL/TRA that gives you the Results as to what you have found and how long you played, is there something like that at every End of a Level in TRU, or do the Game just go to the Next Level. :confused:
No wait, thats Replay Value. :confused:

If you play the demo on the 360, if you leave the menu for a while the evil lara trailer plays, like the dinosaur bit in anniversary. Not sure about the PC demo, or the official game...
