I don't know if you guys, would want this to happen, but I'd definately love that?

Maybe, but not like Kurtis.
Lara can do her job by herself. I thought Rutland was a pretty good antagonist.
In my opinion, it just really concerns on how he's protrayed. Pierre and Larson were okay, not very good., Kold and Kid were better, and Kurtis just sucked. Rutland was the best so far, but I'm willing to keep my head up and mind open.

Nope. Anyone they introduce is going to get walked on, stomped on, and discarded. For some reason, the fans want Lara to be a lonely old spinster.
If they want to introduce a new male villain, as long as Lara fills him full of lead, then he'll be generally accepted.

yeah love in a TR game = TRAGEDY and not in the good way lol but i don't think TR should be about love. it should be more action and angst, and dramatic climactic storytelling.
also it will be heartbroken for male players who dream to be with lara but can't because she's taken from another guy :whi:

They already seem to have a TR-like male protagonist with Uncharted...though he is far more block-headed and less acrobatic than our Lara.

In the past, I´d have only introduced a new male character for the sake of balance :p Having Amanda and Natla and no male nemesis, Lara was condemned to deal with women. Now that Jacquie is finally gone, it might be time to have a new bad guy...no more blondies for a game at least.

Like for instance natla. In the original she was the complete opposite of lara, an American blonde businesswoman b****, and lara is a graceful brunette british lady (despite the whole violence thing). I just love how the two contradict each other:D

I only need Lara, non-playable characters (who are not love interests) are fine but that's it.
Sure, I wouldnt mind either way. Playable or just a new male character in the game (NPC through storyline), that you could of course play as an extra character after the game.. but since people are so in love with Lara they would simply make an thread to get rid of that extra character that.. you know.. you dont even need to play as. :)

Not really... except maybe if it was a friendly relationship. I think Lara's attention needs to be on her goal, not distracted by some guy (obviously not talking about villians).
If it was like Prince of Persia, Sands of Time or The Two Thrones... where the Price and Farah have this "relationship-but-not-really" thing going, its okay.
As long as the guy doesnt interfere with Lara's doings, doesn't become a playable character somewhere, like Kurtis, and he was genuinely helpful, or added to the storyline in some way.
He could carry extra stuff around and help you defeat enemies if you ask him to.
I remember playing an Old Game where you could Switch Characters anytime during the Game, the weird thing was, whatever you have, the other Character got it Immediatly when you Switch to him.
Lets say im deep underwater and the other Character is flying in a Plane, the Underwater Character gets a Madallion and i switch to the Character in the Plane, now he is holding the Madallion in his hand.
Would i like another Playable Character, Well Lara is the Only Girl made for Tomb Raider and i do not want a Multiplayer TR Game, whats the point.
Tomb Raider: Kurtis Trent Demon Hunter, could be a Scary 18+ Game with a Guy Hunting Demons in the Dark with Blood and Guts going everywhere while he throws his Chirugai Blade and use his Psycic Powers.

Id really LIke a love interest for a differennce. It diesnt mean that I want a BF for lara, Nor means that she has to want that. I would just like a non-dorky male character that intrigues Lara in some way. Just like kUrtis. he can turn out to be the bad guy or whatever but I really want Lara to be provoked by some way from a guy. I really want to seee Crystal's lara in that situation. Seeing Core's Lara was real fun!
BTW Larson didnt manage to do that. Lara was obviously not interested in him

How about Crystal Dynamics give Lara a (controversial) love interest? Like say, a modern-day, British Muslim man?
And unlike what you see in the media, this one is kind, sweet, doesn't try to dominate or force his will on Lara and is not a fundamentalist Muslim.
Best of all, he and Lara are deeply in love and he supports what she does in the field.

I would like someone like Larson (TRA version), non a playable charcter though, unless is an extra chapter or unlockable.
A male enemy, sure. Anything more than that, no.
A new addition to the game would be ok, given a good solid story and not soap-opera-ish. Oh and a playable character, when I think of Tomb Raider I only think about playing Lara's character. Kurtis was ok in AOD, but it kinda ruined it for me when I had to take control of his character.

Yes! After the female-led trilogy, TR9 has to have a male main baddie. An Eddington type character wouldn't be bad as well, but please don't make him have any romantic connection with Lara.
As for Kurtis, it would be a huge disappointment if he came back. He was quite annoying and even if he wasn't, I hate it when they recycle old characters too much (TRU, for example). The only ones that should make a return imo are Zip and Winston, but without getting them into any serious storylines. :)

well seriously. Realisticly speaking Lara is getting older and should find someone she cares for but then dies kinda like in the Casino Royale 007 movie. Bond can never have a permanent girlfriend so thats why his love interest dies at the end of the movie. Then Lara can get revenge for the death of her love and its a new game! lol and if she would get pregnant and Natla reincarnates into her womb that would be INCREDIBLE! ahaha

The Nazi's were a political party, they were forced to do what they did due to order's from Hitler and his government.
I suspect some of them wanted to stop what they were doing and in-fact there are stories of Nazi soldiers killing themselves etc...
and certainly they must have had a heart...

probably.... natla developed wings right in atlantis but had them hidden all the way to it... so he may have wings too under that "dress"

I kind of liked TRA Larson, and Von Croy. I don't think there have been many "deep" male characters in TR games until now.
For some reason, the character depth has usually been with the female characters.
All I care is that there is a character that really gets under your skin. You know - like President Palmer's wife in the TV series "24" - man she was a good character - always up to mischief!

Schmeh, on the one hand I would LOVE to see Tihocan in a future TR game as a mentor, a mentor-turned-villian, a straight up villian... don't care, either would be cool... but on the other hand, I really want to get away from the Atlantis storyline for a while.
Though I like Kurtis, I like him in AOD and that's where he should stay ;)
And as for any other kind of male character, CD would have their work cut out for them in making one that people like. He would have to be attractive for the fangirls, manly for the boys, couldn't be portrayed as 'stealing Lara's thunder' in the slightest, and would need to be interesting enough to hold everyone's attention, yet not so in your face as to be irritating.
Maybe it would be easier for him to just be a Bartoli-esque mysterious villian :p
Maybe, if he fits into the story pretty well. I didn't mind Kurtis. :)

I enjoyed AOD actually, don't know why ppl considered it a fail. Controls on PC seemed just fine to me. Maybe it's just me.
