Well, we now know from previous threads that Amanda is alive and well and good (kinda). Well, would anyone like to see her return for her own spin-off game? I myself would love it. She could continue searching for "supreme knowledge" and possibly cross paths with Lara once again. Also instead of pistols, the player could control fluffy with that "Wraith Stone".
That why GAHOG (short for Give Amanda her own game. Thanks by the way who posted that name in another thread :tmb:) was created. This is not another "Wouldn't it be great if..?" is a "It would be great if Amanda get's her own game" :D

Amanda rules! She would should definetley have her own game, but the game would have to be gothic. And the gameplay completely different from lara's to suit amanda's sadistic character.

Imagine that. We could learn more about Amanda's background, why she's so bitter (I know it's because Lara left her for dead...well Lara had believed so.) but also we could get the chance to control Amanda's pet! I think the unknown entity is so much more impressive than excaliber or the hammer of Thor.

Amanda's just some jumped up whiny fool, that really irratated me in legend personally that would be an appaling idea for a game :hea: (dont care about her back story, or why her voice is so god damn annoying)

After finishing Underworld, I was surprised at how much I liked Amanda in the game. I'd be up for it.
I'd love an Amanda game. For one thing, the main Tomb Raider line probably needs a break from Amanda and Natla. They both run the risk of becoming stale if they're the only ones Lara fights. So next game give Lara someone else to fight.
But in the mean time, giving Amanda her own game seems like a great idea. She has a lot of potential backstory barely touched on in the Tomb Raider games.
Precisely how did she escape from Paraiso? While understandably upset that Lara left her behind, what led to Amanda's all out vendetta? How did she get in touch with Natla in the first place? There's so much back story that could be told.
Or...another way to go about it, pick up after Underworld. Amanda obviously hasn't forgiven Lara totally, not yet. But she has seemed to have given up her vendetta. Where does she go from there? Will she ever wind up forgiving Lara? Will they ever be friends again? Will she just go do her own thing and hope to have nothing to do with Lara ever again?
Either one of those games would be a great spinoff.

Amanda would be such a cool character to play as! Her game could be dead gothic and mystical, relying on Amanda's arcane knowledge, and of course FLUFFY :D
Maybe as DLC, but I wouldn't want a proper Amanda game out in stores.

She wasn't a very good character imo. She is not the type to do adventures any way. She always hired people to do the dirty work, compared to Laram or most heroes/heroines who does the dirty work themselves.

Do you really think Amanda can sell a game? Tomb Raider is a niche game... fans of amanda are and even smaller subdivision. You'd be really ostrosizing you're audience by basing a game on such a weak supporting character that nobody knows and even less people care about.

Carry a silver tray around and offer her tea and crumpets, no matter where she ventures. Whether it be in the foyer, the pool area, the gardens, or even her bathroom.
Take the shots from Lara, literally. You'll have to endure round after round from her dual pistols; all while not spilling the tea or dropping any crumpets as you get knocked to the ground.
The hard part is doing all this while suffering with a hunchback at 85 years old.
buy seriously, i dont think an Amanda game would be good. she seems to not be able to do anything by herself. In TRL, she had Rutland and the mercenaries and in TRU, she had more mercenaries and Natla. She needs help in defending herself, for the most part, and with emotional support.

@Rivendell I personally believe that that was meant to be a cutscene inserted before the beginning of the Arctic sea level as in the original version she does not have excalibur and in the level when Amanda saves Lara from the dopple,her leg is injured.
Anyway back on topic, in the TR trilogy i think Amanda is quite a thin character yet there is potential there. I think it would be nice to have a game that chronicled her life from the after she escapes from the tomb of the last queen of Tiwenaku to the end of TRU just to add some depth to her and fill in the blanks from the games such as how did Amanda find the great pyramid and Natla? I dunno what type of gameplay it would be though I can't imagine Amanda throwing herself off cliff faces wraith stone or no wraith stone!

I know, right. She has no backstory other than going to school, getting trapped and having a grudge against Lara. Can't see how that would make a whole interesting game, which enough people would buy to actually be worth making in the first place. And yes, she's too emotional and whiny, that would get annoying.

The camera angles, the fact that Lara is a human but still a badass, and Amanda calling her name and falling on her broken leg while Lara walks away very confident. It's just beautiful.;)
And I don't see how it couldn't have happened at the very end. Lara's leaving Nepal with excalibur, and apparantly Amanda changed her mind and decided to kill Lara after all. The girl is obviously mad, so it makes sense to me...
Her own game?... She's just a supporting character. And she's not that special to have her own game. :ohn:
