View Full Version : The calenda puzzle in xibalba on ps3. please help :(
Completed both calenders but dont remember getting a cut sceen, then looked on the walkthrough and read about the timer that the entrance to the underground will be open for short time
i saw i will need to try the quest again but what part because iv tried moving the circles but after i press triangle to interact with the pole or skull head thing im unable to move them, this is with both calenda they will not move and appear to be in the same place they were when i origanlly fort i completed the quest.
well confused finking might have to start the game over.
please help!!
All you have to do is move the skull statue back on the right side calendar, nothing else needs to be moved.
The 2nd calender should be left alone once you set it up correctly. This is not the timed calender.
It is the first calender that is timed and you have to be finished with the 2nd calender before setting this one up. Then be ready to race to the courtyard as soon as you set it.
The inner circles are moved using the turn-wheel in the center of the calender. You use the lever on the outer circle to unlock it from the inner circles. This only moves to the left (to unlock) and back to the center position (to lock). You have to put the missing jaguar head on center level.
iv tried reseting the 1st calenda but it just wont move, i have the triangle symbol and she is interacting but the skull will just not move.
the 1st calenda is in the same posistion as when i went onto the secound. it seems locked?

Bug: After failing to enter Xibalba for the first time, calendar plates get stuck and none of them can be operated.
Solution: N/A. Restarting the level may help. As a precaution, don't save the game right after solving the second calendar puzzle and before the motorcycle run to the exit.

I just called a mate up at game i think thats digusting i now have to start again!!!
dont wana go OTT but what if someones game skills wasnt good enough to get to the underworld intime first go, would they have to keep restarting the game????
on fifa 09 they did a game update to remove glitchs and improve the game and none were this bad!
is it possible to restart just the level????

I failed the time limit and was able to reset the calendars without any problems. I did not make a manual save after solving the second calendar, so that may be why it did not glitch for me.
is it possible to restart just the level????
If you have a save from before you solved the second calendar, then try loading that :)
Also, Crystal Dynamics is working on a patch to address many of the bugs. I do not know specifically which bugs or when it will be released, though.

Well there's this bug on the PS3 version that if you don't make it on your first go the calendars won't be able to move so either load a previous save before the 2nd calendar, restart the level, or start from the beginning of the whole game. Also I played TRU on PS3 and made it into Xibalba on my 1st go and when i found out about the bug i nearly had a heart attack.
