Underworld, and to be completely honest, I think the main theme was the worst track. Good thing they chose Colin O'Maley iff you aks me ;)

I really like both.
But, to be honest, I guess I'd have to go with Underworld.
(Hated the main theme, though. Prefered Legend's.)

I don't like the theme of TRU, but I love the rest of the soundtrack. I really really love the Legend main theme though.

i preffer TRA over TRU,.. i guess because of the choral.. they are more intensive in some of the TRA themes.. (greatest moments one) on the other hand TRU its nicer melody wise.
While I hate the main theme for TRU, I absolutley adore the rest of the soundtrack. Especially the Med themes.

I would have to put my vote for Underworld becuse the soundtrack as a whole is awesome. But I have to give one nod to a song in Legend. I wish I could remember where it was (I think in one of the jungle areas) but it was fantastic. I have it loaded into iTunes but I forgot to name it. :(
Legend. By far.
I do like Underworld soundtrack. Legend is better.
Underworld any day. The soundtrack as whole is more memorable and movie-like. :)

Absolutely my thoughts exactly. I'm a sad git and had part of Legend's Theme as my Ringtone for almost a year...back in the day of course ;)

Must agree with Riv as well. If Underworld's theme had been better, the soundtrack would've been perfect. :tmb:
Underworld music in general.
But, the Legend theme tune :tmb:.

Underworld has an amazing soundtrack but I agree Legend had a much better main theme. :)
The Legend main theme was better, but overall: Underworld. :)
I loved the music at the end of Thailand :)

I love Underworld more than Legend, though Legend had multiple versions of the same theme which added a little interest.
Overall - Underworld. It made for the perfect atmosphere. I was very impressed.

Legend Main theme is better than TRU's IMO although other soundtracks in TRU are nice :D
Underworld was better for me though Legend's is great also.
I prefer the Underworld Theme. I guess I'm just one of the few that 'get' what he was aiming for with it. :D

Hands down Underworld, it has great music.
even though it plays almost all the time it doesn't bother it sets a good mood in each area.
Music was brilliant in TR:U. It invigorated the gameplay.

main theme was much more dramatic and spectacular, too.
Legend. All the music from Legend distinctly stands out to me, and I listen to the tracks on a regular basis.
Underworld's music wasn't bad, but it was forgettable.

Exactly how I feel. Legends music was memorable and always suited the atmosphere. I also liked the more upbeat sound to it. I thought Legend was an overall more memorable game as well. TRU is a better TR game but Legend is the better game in my opinion simply because it is more polished and fun to play.

Underworld i love it! :D TRA after that Legends is my least favourite too many tecno beats for my liking blah :o I do prefer TRL's main theme than Underworlds for some reason though :D
I love all of Underworld music, except for the main theme. It didn't fit in at all with the manor in the background and stuff. But, out of all the TR games, I LOVE the AOD soundtrack!!! :jmp:

Legend, but the best piece of music in my opinion is Anniversary's Croft Manor Theme (followed by Main Theme). I just adore it, in my opinion it even surpasses the classic soundtrack. ;)
I actually liked legends music more. But i love underworlds sound effects (foot steps ect)
I love the soundtrack for TRU, I prefer it over Legend's. But the main theme for Legend is better than the main theme for TRU.

i Love that song. Especially the garden version. My god, it is beautiful.
and i like the Anniversary main theme better also. it had more interesting sounds to it.
but those two, and maybe Posiden's theme, are the only songs i like from Anniversary so as a whole Underworld soundtrack is the best.

Haven't played the game yet, so all I can go on is the Deluxe Edition soundtrack currently available. With that in mind:
Legend is the best by far. Exciting music and many different themes. Admittedly one has to seriously edit down the tracks as there are a number of quiet ones as well. With those taken out, Legend rocks!
Anniversary is next favorite. It too had some great action cues, but were fewer overall than Legend.
Underworld comes in last for me. Unlike the majority so far, I think Folmann's main theme is beautiful, slowly building in intensity all the way through. It is the best track of all.
O'Malley's score seems so low key most of the time, very slow, and very repetitive. Especially the last. Flutes and bells, flutes and bells. There seems little distinction between the levels in musical style - they all sound the same. The only exception is Amanda's ship track, which is inspired (and THE one everyone seems to love).
Personally, I wish Folmann had been retained for the complete score.

Legend....its just more fun. "Underworld" tends to get too dark (Mexico) and too cartoony (Escaping the sinking ship).

Legend without a doubt. It was much more memorable an melodic than Underworlds soundtrack. Same with Anniversary as well. Underworlds soundtrack wasn't bad but it isn't something I really took notice of or would listen to outside the game with few exceptions (such as the Thor room i Thailand).
I like Underworld's soundtrack mainly because it's very dark, but Legend's soundtrack is more fun to listen to.
I really loved the Legend soundtracks, but I have to say that I love the Underworld ones even more ! :tmb:
Legend Main Theme and some other tracks from TRL...but I love some of TR:U's sountrack too...both good,
But all together I prefer Legend...

Tru, I know some people are gunna hurt me but I didn't even notice the music apart from the end whichhad a little bit from the original soundtrack from tr1 :o so legend the theme was absolutely awesome as well as the ambience and sound effects :)
I think i liked the Underworld theme tune more, i quite like the AOD one since when you get into it, it sounds quite good

Sorry, Legend's was the best - more peaceful and calming, like the one when you start Nepal.But some tracks in Underworld were good, take Amanda's Ship (BenR Remix) for example. :D
Legend had some memorable tracks for me. Such as Tokyo and Nepal. Nepal one were beautiful, I meditate to them occasionally.

the classic music were better than the modern music although TR chronicles and the last revelations tunes were horrible( not to mention Chronicles main theme which wouldnt feel as one)
legend and underworld are alright music and anniversarys is plain ok

The music in Underworld was better generally, but the Legend theme was fantastic - especially at the climax with the singer.
Underworld's soundtrack is really dull and uninspiring, the only two tracks I like are the music that plays in the background while escaping the temple at the end of the Mediterranean Sea level, and while you're on Amanda's boat the first time. Legend's soundtrack, which I still kind of hate, is far superior to Underworld.
Tomb Raider 3 has the best soundtrack :tmb:
Although Underworld's soundtrack is pretty epic, it kinda overdoes the orchestrations and choral arangements, in my opinion. I really liked how Legend's soundtrack had such a huge variety...not just orchestrated epic music but also music that fit the country the stages took place in as well as thrilling action-movie-esque music. Underworld had that in maybe one or two places, and that was it.
While Orchestra and Chorus in Video Games and Movies is pretty awesome, it's beginning to get overdone in recent times, in my opinion.

Legends soundtrack was FAR better than Underworld, i LOVED the Legends music which made the game more emotional and nice. You really got attached to what lara was feeling in the game. Much better than underworld.

i hated Legend's quasi-techno crap.
Legend: it's music stirred a greater variety of emotions. I particularly like the main theme, Khasitan (sp), and above all the manor theme. Underworld's soundtrack just seems to run all together in my mind, not very distinct songs.

I prefer Underworld, the music was there but didn't distract you from the game, and it really suited what was happening at that moment, Legend, while great, was too overempowering for the actual gameplay itself.
And I find that TRU was more relaxing as a result of the soundtrack, especialy the Med levels.
I don't like the main theme for TRU though, but I love TRL's theme.
