I just got an XBox 360 and I was wondering if it was worth getting Legend and Anniversary for this system. I already own both games for PS2 and PSP versions (because I need to play my Tomb Raider everywhere I go!). Is there any special downloadable content for both games or anything other that you can't do with the PS2/PSP versions? I don't remember seeing anything specific for each game earlier when they were released, but I could have missed something...

Legend, maybe, if you fancy the super shiny visuals.
Anniversary, from what I've seen, no.

You only have it on PS2? I think there will be some huge improvements graphic-wise then, enough to make me interested - though I probably wouldn't pay the full original price for it since they're old games by now and well, I've already finished them, just with lesser graphics.
How much can you get them for?

Get both, Legend looks amazing, and Anni looks way better than the PS2 & PC version, and the water graphics are greatly improved too. I liked them both on 360. :tmb:

I would reccommend both! Especially Legend.

Yeah, I just bought my first 360 last week (I know, it took me a long time to upgrade to a next gen system). I wasn't going to pay full price for the games since they are old(er). I saw Legend used at Gamestop for $15 and Anniversary was used for $25. If I ever see them cheap I think I'll get them.

15 and 25 dollars respectively seems very reasonable. I'd say go for it :) Or, maybe buy Legend first and wait for Anniversary's price to drop further while you play Legend :p

Both have updated graphics (Legend more-so than Anni. but Anni's is noticeable when you're actually playing it) which is the only thing really.

The Xbox 360 has something called Achievement Points (not to be confused with Microsoft Points that are used to purchase items from the Xbox Marketplace) and Gamerscore which are basically something to brag about and both have easily obtainable points. But if you aren't interested in the Achievement aspect then it's only fancy looking graphics.

if i were you, i'd get Legend, the graphics are ridiculously beautiful.
for Anniversary, i'd still get it, just to have it on the 360. plus it looks nicer :)

Thanks for your replies everyone. I might just buy Legend right now and wait till Anniversary drops lower in price. I'm still playing through Underworld, though (School is making it so I have no time ro really play the game...), so maybe when that's done with I'll buy it.

I'm so new to my 360 that I don't even know what Achievements are. Are they for online? I have yet to hook up to XBox Live because I need to buy a wireless adapter to do so, and they are really expensive so I'm waiting for a little while.

Might as well.
I got both on ps2 so I probably wont unless they stop working.

Legend is dirt cheap now. If you want a step up from the PS2, that's the one I would be looking for. it really looks great, especially the England Level. Some gorgeous lighting on that!

They're points for doing various things in a game (they vary between games) for example completing a level or killing 1000 enemies. You don't have to be online to obtain them unless the game has online achievements. I'd explain more but I'm writing this on the PS3 and it's taking an age lol.
