I bought one at Best Buy as a present... so, yes, they are out there.

You can buy them at eBay too... I have to do that because I do not live in the US, and even if I have an international credit card, I do not live in the US so that's why I cannot buy in the PS Store. PSN Cards are the only solution so far.

Its like a prepaid credit card for the PSN. If you don't have a Visa card say, you wouldn't be able to buy off the PSN, which is a shame. However, the PSN cards come loaded with a set amount, like 20 quid, which you can then spend online.
